Here's a link, was able to find it on my phone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eNSblX2zeg&feature=youtube_gdata_player Also, I too have noticed the nose fall out in very high speed flight, but only when fast, like fast enough that the elevator even blanks out and you have to pull the throttle back to pull up, but that was when I was flying it in columbia, can't reach those speeds in the us ya know.

RE: Classic Flash Tips?
I based my cg at 365 with a full uat and gear down, also at 365 I had it just slighty on the tail low side. 30* landing flap... No takeoff setting needed, just have it on a slow speed, one less thing to mess with. Takeoff roll full up until rotation to make the best of a short takeoff roll, similar to an f-4.. Unless you have the power like mine did at 35lbs and I just kept full up for a sweet looking hill climb. Also crow isn't needed for aoa... Go to YouTube and search Justin Tidwell, a few videos down you will see a video from kyjets on how mine flew. I also never used more than 15% expo on any of the surfaces.

RE: Servo Life
We used to change them on the uav, smaller futaba servos at 200 hours... Now with that being said when I changed them, I boxed them up and shipped them home instead of trashing them. I still use them in smaller electrics and they keep on going. I had never seen one fail besides being mistreated with stripped gears.

RE: Why has buying a jet in the classified become so much of a PITA??
ORIGINAL: FILE IFR Doc, kudos to you for sharing your frustrating, costly, time & money experience. He rattled off every excuse in the book (embarrassment will do that), except the one for not returning your money in a timely fashion once he was to get a job... 60 days later. The current ad info- Why Selling> Buying a full scale. Playing the 'Pity Card' of no health insurance and a furloughed job didn't go over well. [;)]
HAHA, Yea I noticed that first off as well... At any rate just selling some R/C stuff can't ever justify owning a full scale.... That might buy a decent nav/com if your in a pinch after one burns out, LOL... Sorry you couldn't get the plane Tommy, Like Scott said more will come. Maybe I'll get down there again one day and we can do some more flying, or pair up and I'll fly your wing to get some dinner some time..

RE: Jets Over Kentucky 2011 Has Begun / Event Photos / Comments / DVD/Blu-Ray Available
It's Monday morning and I still haven't recovered from the weekend, It was one of the best events I've ever been to. Had a good time hanging out with great friends, meeting new ones, and a chance to get in several flights. Thanks to Jerry Bowling for letting me fly his Bobcat for the first time during the sportsman challenge second place wasn't too shabby for a unfamiliar plane and a KY Boy, haha... This cat's ready for KY Jets 2012!

RE: Cermark F-16
Yup thats it. Mine has the covered wings and ailerons. I was a little skeptical about how it would fly, but I love it... Even a little nose heavy I was still able to get the nose up and get her slow for landing. My only complaint is the fuel tanks were weak, needed alot of reinforcing so they would not crack during fill up.

RE: JETS OVER KENTUCKY 2011
KY Summer weather shows the thunderstorms quite abit but the percentage usually stays around 30%... alot of early to mid afternoon in the heat of the day activity that's hit or miss, which usually means perfect flying weather for the most part on average.. Haha

RE: Cermark F-16
Sounds great, about what I figured.. It already comes right off the ground in about 300 feet, it's a sweet flier for sure.. Only had a chance to put 2 flights on it and even with the cg at 4.5" I was able to get a good feel for some high alpha as well.. I have flown a buddies 1/6 Skymaster a few times and it's just as rock solid as that puppy in the air, just smaller..

Cermark F-16
Finally got a chance to get the test flight out of the way on my Cermark F-16, what can I say... I love the airplane and its simplicity, couldn't ask for a better combo with the fuel sipping Super Bee KS from Eric and the Jet Central gang. Question, to the guys out there flying this plane, where did you CG it at? Just curious to see where everyone else is running, the Cermark manual stated like 4.5" back from the wing leading edge and the manual for Tams said like 6" which I thought to be two widely spread numbers for similiar aircraft. I'm running mine level with gear down and UAT full at 4.5" and it flies like a dream, easy rotation on takeoff, and flare for a slow landing which was so predicatable it made for a picture perfect first outing. I'm thinking about moving it to around 5" though to maybe aid in the heavy feel of the elevator.
