RE: Podcasts for RC?
I know of ONE R/C podcast and it is the HELLcast. It is hosted by Billy Hell of Pro Bro fame. There are a couple with Bob Sadler that are great, don't miss the Sheik story. They are available on iTunes and at http://www.billyhellrc.com/hellcast.html

RE: Funtana Down
It has a nylon wing bolt. It smacked on the wheels and broke the former the wing and landing gear attach to. I knew it would be a weak point but I did not want to add the weight untill I had to.

Funtana Down
Sunday I took her up for a blender and it went fine until I decided to exit and it was a little too late. She will fly again.

RE: Morris the knife fuel tank location
I have had a couple of Knifes and put the tank in the wing and on the side. I won't put another tank in the wing. The tank has a habit of damaging the leading edge sheeting on a sudden stop. And nothing beats the convenance of puting on the out side. Fly by and check fuel levels!

Will the Aerofly Professional Deluxe work with a Real Flight interface or does it need it's own? I don't like the idea of using a real transmiter.

Is anyone running a Wild Hare 28% with a Zenoah G45? I know the DA 50 is THE set up but I have a G45. If you have one is it enough to hover and torque roll with any safety margin?

RE: Official Joe Nall 2004 Thread - Post your pictures and links to videos here!
This was my second Joe Nall and I loved it again! If you want to fly your plan ten times a day this is not the place and anyone who expects to is crazy. Also no mater what the announcer has to say; It is not realistic to think that if you get over a thousand people together, that nothing will be stolen or do other stupid stuff! There is usually a reason that you hear a sponsors name so much during a performance. They are the ones paying so that you can see it. Great Planes and Horizon obviously picked up most if not all of the costs involved with putting on the full size air show. Personally the more of a show it becomes the happier I will be. I go to see things I don't see every weekend. Congratulations to the Confederate Air Farce for another great event!

Plans for Somthing like a Magnum
Can anyone think of a bird that would be similar to a Magnum that has plans or a kit available for them? I know the Magnum is coming, it has been for about six months, plus a significant price increase. Besides I like to build. I like the general look of the Magnums and prefer a plane over delta.

Does anyone have experience making an electric Outlaw by Jerry Smith, or similar airplane. I am wanting a speed plane with an electric motor that would be competitive with the noise makers. 100+ MPH. I would like some specific info on motors and amp draw.

RE: Dayton Ohio RC DOGS show??¿¿
This years show should be September 3,4,5. I have been there for the last two years and loved it! It is not a warbird show it is a giant show. The first two photos are from the Noon show, that happens sometime between Noon and a little later[:D] Yep that is really seven 40%ers hovering on the runway (well they come and go) Hovering on the runway is only done in the show and after hours. During the day you can fly in circles and more exotic shapes.

RE: not a crash, but its a wonder it didnt.
It probably worked somthing like this. The engine got loose first and caused vibration that loosened up everything else. It is common for engine bolts to need tightening after the first flight or two.
