RE: Converting free flight to R/C?
That might be a good idea, Maybe I should make the tail have more than a couple of stringers.

RE: Converting free flight to R/C?
The airfoil is pretty much a undercambered airfoil and then you use a small square strip at the leading edge. Would outlining the whole outer frame be too heavy? That is what I might do and put two strips of thin hardwood in the wing. my nail for my mini Hi- Start came out of the ground ans stuck me in the neck but it may pull it up there, Not to far though, it is more or less for 24'' free flight gliders and smaller. Should I put a small wheel in it like in the pictures on the website?

Sorry, I forgot to mention the size, It is a 40'' glider, With that old time 30's look to it. It is an Easy Built Models Gremlin. It was about $30 and it is printed wood.

Yes, I was thinking about doing a ''pull pull '' system. Maybe I should just build it how it says in the plans and then I will work up in kit quality. Thanks for all the help!

The only things I want to modify are the rudder and elevator. I want to have full flying surfaces and a dummy engine, That would be neat for me.
