RE: Double Mircale Switch RX and Ing
I agree as you must be able to charge each battery seperately. So what is the best method? What is everyone else doing? That is why I started this thread. I wasn't sure to to plug two different battery packs into the rec and have a seperate switch for each one. I'll be able to charge each pack. Plug one into the battery port and other into a spare servo port. This will just double up my pack output in current? If I lose a battery or a cell it would more than likely bring that pack voltage way down and the other pack would bring me in. Is this how everyone is doing it or just plan to get a battery backer or isolation device that switches between pack #1 and pack #2.

RE: Double Mircale Switch RX and Ing
Is it better to y harness the battery packs together or just plug into a spare port on the RX? In this case wouldn't they work against each other of if I had a pack failure, a bad cell could bring down both packs. Using a battery backer would elminate this condition. What would be the best route to go?

RE: Double Mircale Switch RX and Ing
Yes, you are right and I plan to go that route. Maybe just not thinking. Looking at battery backer from EMS. Can't beat the added insurnace of another battery on the RX. thanks

Double Mircale Switch RX and Ing
I'm installing a Mircale Switch in an airplane and it is a dual switch type. I planned on using one for RX battery and other for Ingition battery. I'm using a 2.4 radio and new DLE 55. Do you think I will have any interfearance using the switch this way or better of having a seperate switch for the engine ingition? thx

RE: Scalemasters 2008 VIDEO
I think there were 35 planes entered. I think the economy kept some people away this year. The crowd was very good on Saturday, a little less on Sunday. David

RE: Copying data between 8103
FYI: I have solved the problem. I had sent one of the radios to Horizon for a repair of a bad main board. When they replaced it, they put non-digit trim board into a digital trim radio. JR is installing the correct board at no charge. The problem should go away. Danny, thanks for your response.

Copying data between 8103
I have what I believe are two identical 8103A with digital trims. When I try a copy data from one radio to the other, I get the transmitter end to say 100%. The receiving transmitter goes to 99% and stays there until I press the clr key on the transmitting unit and then I get a message on the receiving unit telling me I have a transmitter mismatch. I am stumped. Can anyone help?

RE: CG on Cermark F-16?
Do you have the older Cermark F-16 that they no longer have? If so, I have the instructions at work which I know have the correct cg. I will post on Monday if you tell me this is the correct one.

RE: P-38 Fly-In
I'm building the GP P-38 Profile as a fun twin trainer. I have the Ziroli plans for the real P-38. Hope to start building soon. I have a B-25 that I might have finished before then. I'm working in Waterloo, Iowa but currently live in Ottawa, Kansas. I would be very interested in the twin fly-in. thanks dave
