RE: AXI 2826/10 .40 size conversion?
If you use a 282610, you should use a 4S 3200-3700 mah lipo and a 12x 6 prop. It was the best combo I found for this motor. It will hull a 4.5 pound Modeltech Magic straight up. If you are using a Trainer plane, a 3S will be fine with the above suggested prop. You gotta love the 2 year warrenty on those motors!! StephenT

Electrifly larger brushless motors
Guys, Has anyone used any of the new large Electrifly Brushless motors? I am looking at a 36-56-1800 inrunner. It will replace my Jeti 30-3 which finally bit the dust after I over amped it. HL just wants too much now to replce it. StephenT

Funtana 100X Landing Gear
Guys Does anyone know if the LG for the Funtana 100X is taller than that of the Old 90? Is the bolt pattern the same? The Guy at Horizon was very helpful. He said probably but wasn't sure of either question. StephenT

RE: New electric motor behaving erratically when playing with throttle
Guys, I have been flying electrics for 4 years and have many planes. Sal2006 you most likely are using a battery that can't handle the load or your LVC is setto the wrong battery level. I have a problem of my own. I have a Esskay motor and 10 amp CC ESC. The motor twitches back and forth then finally forward. It just started doing this. It was fine before. StephenT

RE: Flatouts - Fatigue cracking?
Guys, Trash 'em!! Those flat outs are not that good. My 580 got two flights. On the 2nd ,I landed OK!! Went to taxi and it fell apart on gthe ground. My son's Turmoil got 5 flights and fell apart. There are many better and less expensive flat foamies out there. Don't fool with these losers. I love the paint jobs, but the construction technique is poor. StephenT

The 8S works good but not giving unlimited verticle. I am slowly propping up. I dumped all of my 15 C 4000 Kokam Packs and went to 20C PQ 3700s. They run cooler. I have more cooling holes in the cowl and fuse. StephenT

Guys I just got my AC to DC power supply from HL so I can charge packs at home w/o going to the car. The problem is that when I check the out put terminals, I only get 1.8 volts no matter where the pot is set. Yes the meter is set correctly! I checked it on a battery. StephenT

Good climb almost, but not unlimited. I have ordered an additional pack to run as 10S. Pulls less than 40 Amps.
