RE: Help: How do I no when my clutch is bad
While at 2 gallons I'm sure the Clutch Needs some Attention...... Your Problem sounds more like the OWB Slipping in the 2 Speed, (Take the 2 Speed set up apart and Clean it...........Should stop the Slipping)

RE: LST2 hop ups
I agree with most that Lots of Upgrades are not Really Needed...... But if you Bash Hard what so ever.....RPM Arms and New Era Steering knuckles are a Must IMO.... (And while I always Hear how Cheap the Stockers are....I've Never Had to Think about a Broken Arm with the RPM's Period![;)] ) Top, Bottom, And Same Deal with the TiNi Gears....Are they Needed....No!....... The Stockers will last Longer that your Engine will[;)] (12 + Gallons on the Plastic Gears No Problem with a Alum Engine Brace) But I've Been Running them since they came out in late 2004 or early 2005 (Can't remember Exactly As it's been Years) And there Still in Good Shape after Many Engines/Bearings/Clutch bell Nuts and so on) Nice to Never Even think about a Stripped Gear...... A little surface rust...But still in Good condition for the amount of Use and there Age..... and the Single Speed set up on my other Truck,

RE: new to engine teardown.
A New Piston & Sleeve in NOT a Rebuild....& Buying (Piston/Sleeve/Con Rod/Bearings....) is So Not worth it on a Mach..... Sure you may get a Few Extra Gallons outta it.......But it won't work as well or last as Long as it did when it was New..... I Still say your Better off to buy a New One that do a Proper Rebuild of a Mach......

RE: lOSI 454 Carb Upgrade Question
ORIGINAL: HerrSavage I know there's a lot of info out there about differences between the orange and teal head, but I am doubtful.. Why would SH have had two separate production lines for the same engine?? I don't think they did.. Maybe they changed with the intro of the teal, but then all the orange ones were changed too?? Who knows..
Teal heads a "Losi" engine and the orange head is a Mach....................The teal does have a Little more power though.......(As it was made for 1 speed truggys)
