Mine is done. Waiting for a calm day to test fly her. Will upload more photos later of the build. Finals are going on at college and school is coming first now! Hopefully next week when I am home I will have time to upload a lot of pictures.

33% OMP Yak SP-55M Build Thread
Here is a build thread of OMP's new Yak SP-55M. Scale: 33% Wing Span: 102 inches Length: 94.5 inches (including spinner) Wing Area: 1875 sq. in. Flying Weight: 24 to 27 lbs Engine: 85cc to 100cc Gas Radio: 6 to 9 Channels Servos : 180 - 330 oz required Here are a few pics of the packaging!!! Great stuff.

OMP Edge 540 V3 Build
I decided to do a build thread of one of OMP's originals. This is the Edge 540 V3. This plane has a wing span of 47" and a length of 47". Weight is close to 4.25 lbs and is powered by .46-.63 two stroke engine or .60-.82 four stroke engine. I will be powering this plane with a OS 46 FX engine and using Hitec 645 Servos. Running Futaba FASST 2.4 7 channel rx with a Nihm 4.8 or 6 v battery on board. This is the all white version of the edge which is covered with all Ultra Cote. I plan in the future to put some colors on it. Build starts tomorrow.

We decided we are going to throw the battery right behind the fuel tank and tear the covering off the front and throw some lead up there. If I have time before I leave for school I will also put the 91 Four stroke up front instead of the 91 2 stroke. Hopefully this will help the cg issue.

Question? We are building mine and was wondering how the control horn goes in the elevator rudder and ailerons? I jus thave a carbon fiber control horn. Looks like the same size horn for my AJ Slick Electric I just got. Was wondering if this is actually strong enough for this airframe??? There are no slots cut in the elevators, ailerons or rudder for these to. Was wondering what you all did. Thanks

AW Yak 150cc Canopy problems
I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem with their canopy bending up in the front showing yellow. The front of my canopy is up just a bit in the front over the cowl. I have notice it getting worst each flight. I believe it is because of the metal pegs in the front rubbing against the ply that they go into making the holes bigger. Another problem with these canopys is they tend to bubble a lot! keep them out of the sun as much as u can. Other than that this plane has been very solid!
