Thanks for the replies. [:D] It's not the sr3000, its the sr300. Everything is new and as it came from the package. Here is the setup currently: (ignore ugly servo wire setup [:)])

spektrum sr300 antenna
Hey all, This is my first 2.4ghz system so i'm a tad confused. The antenna on my spektrum SR300 is extremely short.. 3" im going to guess. The antenna exits at the almost center of the receiver so by the time i get it into the antenna tube its about 1.5" long. So, my question is, do i even need to put the antenna in the tube? Or can i can i just tape it down to the side of the receiver?

RE: The Official Team Associated B44 Thread
Yes, you do. If you could fit a stick pack up there (it may not fit under the body), it would increase your CG to much and create a lot of body roll and bad handling.

RE: The Official Team Associated B44 Thread
Just got mine yesterday! Bought it used off of ebay and then tore it down to pieces last night and completely rebuilt the thing. No body and no electronics yet.. which was why i bought a used one, so i could pony up and get some quality stuff [;)] [image]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v257/humprnr/IMG_0617.jpg[/image]
i am thinking about buying one of these, the problem is i have never built a kit before and this would be the first 4wd i own long enough to actually mantain. is it easy enough to build?
It's a very simple kit IMO, you shouldn't have much difficulty building it. AE instructions are always very clear.

odd servo problem
hi, i put a fairly used 645mg in my ultra comp yesterday, i used the same servo in my maxx and then in my revo, and now my buggy. but the thing is , it performed like it was new after 15 minutes of rolling around in the street (i was on the 3rd tank of the break-in, so no eratic driving) and then all of of sudden for about 10 seconds it starting glitching like a mad man and then i lost control of the steering servo. so now everytime i time i turn the tx/rx on the servo turns the wheels left and and torques theit down to the point where it looks like the turnbuckle is gonna snap from the stress. so anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? it never had any acces to water or anything

q8- you are honestly an idiot. a savage will only beat a k3 or bugg for that matter, if it had 0 compression and one wheel.
