RE: Helpful tips?
I have both on all my rc`s I like the roto start but if you kill a batt trying to start your rc and don`t have a back up bat your toast. I prefer the pull start myself cause I can feel if the engine is flooded (gets harder to pull) and I hate carrying extra batts but if your tuned right a roto start will save the inside off your fingers from blisters, a bump box is really the way to go depending on what rc you have, then I don`t mind carrying extra batts.

I'd agree it is a great motor for a light buggy(2 wheel drive) I know it wouldn't have the hp the sh28 has but you know me I like to tinker

You can fix stuff it might be tough at first to learn it but you don't seem to be an idiot and as for parts just shoot Eddie an email and the parts are on thier way. And if you run into problems you have us to help you.

RE: Helpful tips?
Ones a tryuggy(rxt) the rxb is a buggy they are both great the rxt can go over alot more terrain the rxb is more of a race/basher. As for maintaining your rxt just check screws, wheels, wiring airfilter(clean and oil it) just go over everything. I can't stress enough that if you maintain your r/c if it breaks it's either your fault or normal wear and tear.

RE: Helpful tips?
Here is my rxt running I sheared off a few motor mounts my fault though [link]http://www.youtube.com/user/Swamp3rz#p/a/u/0/CJ9bV0sRe-k[/link] The rxt is a beast no matter what way you look at it, you just gotta learn to fix stuff yourself then you know if it's the r/c's fault or yours. I can promise you one thing it isn't the rxt's fault

RE: Helpful tips?
Like I said said how do you know they are doing the right thing at the shop, they might be in a bad mood that day or what ever. You gotta learn to fix it yourself we are here to help but complaining about something we know works doesn't help. There is alot to r/c's rtr to me means nothing you gotta go over every r/c and I told you and so did Eddie to check your clutch springs, pop the motor out and take off the bell I'll put money on it you have a broken spring(normal wear and tear)

RE: Helpful tips?
Did you do like your supposed to and go over ever metal to metal screw/bolt and lock tite them have you checked everything right down to wiring, if your taking it to a shop to have it fixed how do you know they are doing it right. Blame the r/c all you want but if you look in a mirror you'll find the one to blame.

I can promise you this will not be the last time you have to fix something, unless you park the r/c and use it as decoration. I don't care what brand you have they break down it's just part of the hobby.

RE: Help Starting Nitro Rapida in Cold weather
I hope your using airfilter oil after you do that :) I don't think that would make a difference heating your filter it would cool off b4 you even tried to start your r/c and your taking the chance of water in your motor.

RE: Help Starting Nitro Rapida in Cold weather
I like the idea but gonna have to say to all don't do it, Just heat your rc with floor heat in your car or heat it up b4 you go out. As support I can't tell you to use a torch or exaust to heat your r/c I say don't do it, I can think of so many things that could go wrong.
