I have a geared Laser200V with a modified Mick Reeves gear. It drives a 24"x12" threeblader at 4300. The gear ratio is 1 to 1,75. Vi are planning to build a gear for the 300V in the Gustav too. Freddie. I had to dremel out a little bit of the spar and one rib. The scale dia wheels on this plane is almost 6", but then you have to rebuild some of the main spar [:o] 5 1/4" is the max diameter to use, so your wheels will fit.

Menz 3 blade 24 x 12. Idle is 400 rpm. Max is 4200 rpm on the prop.
