RE: Mini40 Trimaran - Nightmare MK VIII - First Production Boat Launched Today
Phancita Looks really good. How much lighter is it than the glass version. Do you find it to be stiffer overall, especially the beams? Did you use an epoxy resin or polyester/vinyl? TBK

Great video. It looks like he has found just the right balance point and combination of volume and rocker. That boat is very stable even when sailing on just one hull. TBK

RE: T-foils for small multihulls?
Sirit Dick Lord did develop a succesful t-foil trimaran which utilizes adjustable flaps that are raised lowered using wands trailing in the water. The faster the forward movement or greater presssure on the wand forces the angle of the flap upward causing the foil to lift. If you go to his website - microsail.com and look up the microFoiler there are some great shots of it in action. TBK

Sirit Nice job with that catamaran. Which do you think has better overall performance the cat or tri. Have you had a chance to pair them against each other yet? TBK

RE: Sail Winch discovery
Gary Looks too good to be true based on price alone. It shipd out directly from Hong Kong so I'm not surprised. Given the cheap cost I may order one just to test it out or use it as a replacement for the HITEC winch in one of my boats. The Futaba winch is set up to go 6 revolutions and I'll be that this winch is a "copy" of that design. TBK

RE: Ragnarok - 65M Trimaran
Phancita, Awesome work. The finished hulls look good. Have you had chance to sail one of the first moulds yet? I'm sure that they will be able to out sail the prototypes. Can I ask what weight of glass you used in the layup? Are there internal bulkheads installed for the radio/servos/fin? Are you going to fabricate any in carbon fibre/epoxy? TBK

Awesome job. This should make for some great hulls. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Have you started to give some thought yet on the internal layout, i.e. finbox, rudder log, servo/radio mounting? TBK
