RE: Trex 450 Pro build
You can run a 500 on 2 3S packs right? I'll most likely go with the 450 though.

RE: New 35cc Extra 300 QB!!!!!!!!!
I was hoping so. One of my Moki's is bolted to an 18.5 lb. Miles Reed 260 (very heavy), and is a great IMAC style flyer. The other is on an OMP 80" Edge, which is about the same weight and is a solid performer.

RE: New 35cc Extra 300 QB!!!!!!!!!
Hey just wondering if a Moki 1.8 would pull this plane around OK or not. I have a pair of these engines that may need new homes soon, so I was thinking of the 35cc 260 and 300.

RE: Cuda with a Moki
Well, I own 4 Moki's, that's why I'd want to use it. I was just curious though, I am looking at stepping into gassers. I have an 80" Extra 260 with a 1.8 on it that weighs 18.5 lbs. and it hauls around pretty nice.

Cuda with a Moki
Hey everyone, this plane looks exciting. Just wondering if it's possible to bolt a Moki 1.8 or 2.1 on the front of this thing and have it perform decently. Thanks!

Slow Piro Rate with GY611
Hey everyone, I have the gy611 on my raptor, but the piro rate is slow as molasses, and it makes 540 stall turns a bit nerve wracking! I have the endpoints dialed all the way down to 65% and the tail pitch is maxed out! Gyro limit is at the recommended 115%, but its just really slow. I read somewhere that dialing up the endpoints will help, but I don't see how that will help if the tail pitch slider won't move any farther. Am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work? Thank You

Aftermarket rudder servo mount
Hi all, I'm Looking at moving the tail servo of my raptor 60 to the tail boom with an after market mount. My question is, can I use the servo rod that is already installed, and just take off the front half where it connects in the cylindrical piece? Or, do I need a whole different servo rod, such as part number PV0347 (if anybody has a manual around)? Thanks!!

RE: Different versions of trex 450
Hey, thanks for the input. I am a little weary of the torque tube design from Align. A member of my club just built 2 T-Rex 700's, and BOTH of them have quite a bit of slop in the gears. He is a great builder and was quite surprised to see this (he's been flying heli's for about 20 years). On the other hand, the belt design has its drawbacks, like having to watch the tension.

RE: Different versions of trex 450
So if one were looking at a 450 Pro vs. a 450 Sport, which is the better choice? Do they fly much differently, or is the difference in ease of maintenance and a slight lower cost for the sport?

RE: Looking to purchase a Raptor. Please advise.
I have a Raptor 60 and love it. From what I've heard, the Raptor 50 or Raptor 50 Titan is a great and versatile heli. You can tame it down for a beginner, and then crank it up for a wild 3D machine. My 60 is great, probably a bit more expensive than the 50 size though. They only come as kits, and the 30 may come as an ARF, but an RTF isn't the greatest option, because you usually have to take it apart to make sure it was put together correctly.

C Ratings
Hi Everyone, I have a question about the C Ratings on Lipos. I have some older Thunder Power 2100mah 10C/12C lipos that I use in some foamies. I'm wanting to buy a few more, but notice they don't sell the 10/12C anymore, only 20 or 25C. Is it OK to use these when I've been using the lower C ratings previously? I don't want to burn up the motor or speed controller. Thanks! Tim
