RE: Revo BB engine..
Alright guys. I have one last question- I have the New Era Evolution BB kit and it says that it only works with .21 sized .28s (or bigger C.I.s). So I'm wondering if the LRP is .21 sized or if its longer than a .21? If it is I'll just get the Picco .26.

Revo BB engine..
I know this is an over-asked question but I'm not asking which one is the "BEST", I'm asking for reliable BBs.[sm=spinnyeyes.gif] So if you HAVE OWNED a reliable BB please vote for it! Thanks.

RE: Whats better, a Savage or a Revo?
2 things. #1 you're in the Traxxas thread. #2 go with the Revo! Savages CANNOT race unless you put $1000 or so into them. Revos can race or bash.

RE: Oops..
ORIGINAL: rcdudegermy08 If it was me, I'd go with rpm stuff all the around (get the oversized carriers if you can, they are more durable) Plus if the rpm stuff ever breaks, you can get a new part absolutely free- lifetime warranty (that's a deal)
I've just heard that the pivot balls pull through the RPM carriers a lot.

Oops..
I've had my Revo for about 4 weeks and nothing has broke! Until now. It's 30F outside and I hit a tree at about 40mph doing a wheelie(imagine the possibilities[8|]). Anyway I broke the left top and bottom A arms, axle carrier, and stripped the wheel. I know I need to upgrade to RPM A arms, but what axle carriers should I get? I've heard bad things about the RPM ones. Pics... RE: Warhead or T-Maxx
From what I understand the Warhead was slapped together by Duratrax. The T-maxx was carefully designed by Traxxas and has been perfected over the years. To sum it up, the Warhead is crap. The T-maxx is awesome!

RE: New Era BB coversion.
ORIGINAL: basic i have the new era evolution mount in mine - http://www.neweramodels.com/cgi-bin/item.cgi?session_id=&part_id=2553 tight fit, sits the engine at a wierd angle making the HSN nearly touch the transmission. all in all it's a very good kit; allows for use of a pull start (provided you have the right header, which is what i'm searching for now) and very clean. did have some problems with clearence for the 1/8th clutch and 19t bell i'm using, would liked to have seen the mounts drilled with something to allow the engine to be moved forward/backward a little bit. all in all it's a great kit though, i'm very impressed with the kit. note - it will NOT allow for use of a bump start, have to have pull/roto start. previous to this i had the qoncepts bb install kit (actually using the clutch and bell from it) and its good as well, more options to move the engine around; but i had problems with it because you can't use a pull start at all, bump start only, and as i mostly bash; bump start is out of the question.
Basic, what engine did you use? The kit says that .28s that are longer than a .21 won't fit. Everybody, are most .28s like that? Could someone give me a few that will fit?

New Era BB coversion.
Has anyone tried the [link=http://www.neweramodels.com/cgi-bin/item.cgi?session_id=&part_id=2292]New Era BB conversion[/link]? How does it hold up in wrecks? How does it compare to the Qocepts BB kit? Also, does the aluminum rear a arm hold up well or does it bend? I'm just considering my options. Thanks in advance.

RE: P1 and P2 rockers...what's the difference?
ORIGINAL: carbon revo proggresive rate is the changing of force as the suspension compresses, so the #2 rockers will give your truck a little tighter feel as yhe suspension compresses, so on the #1 rockers it is just as easy to push down at the end of the travel as it is at the begining, hope this helped.
Yep. Exactly what I needed. Thanks!

P1 and P2 rockers...what's the difference?
The Revo 3.3 is suppost to have P1 in the front and P2 in the back... whats the difference? Rockers are the gray things that hold on to the shocks aren't they? I know it's a stupid question, I'm just curious. Thanks!

RE: Revo 2.5 or 3.3
Dude... don't get either! The Savage will kick both of their butts and their really tough and their so tough that you can run them over with 1:1 cars and the 1:1 car will break and fall into pieces and their really tough and... J/K! Get the 3.3. I just finished jumping mine off a 10' hill and going 20' high and landing on the lid. My little bro's every-so-tough T-maxx was in pieces!( NOTE: I'm not criticizing the T-maxx in any way shape or form so don't start flaming!) I'm very happy with MY 3.3! :D

Good spirings for Revo 3.3 for bashing.
The stock springs are way too soft, if I jump at all it will bottom out. They are so soft that it will barely hold up its rear end. Any ideas? I'd like it to be able to hold up its rear at least! Thanks.

Ofna mount question.
Hi, I just bought a Revo 3.3 that needs a new engine. I'm pretty sure I'd like to go BB and get the Mach 427. However, I don't really want to get a BB conversion unless I have to. So, my question is, will the Ofna engine mount for the Picco .26 fit the Mach 427? Also, does anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks!
