RE: -=OFFICIAL HPI FIRESTORM THREAD=-
Sup guys, I have had my firestorm for almost 2weeks now. I raced last Sat. I got 2nd in the Bmain. Not bad for me cause this is my 2nd nitro car. I love this car, my LHS, Hobby town USA has all parts for the Firestorm on back order, cause parts come out in Feb. 07. I have only run minds on an indoor track. It handles great, just change the rear tires. I know 1 thing this thing is crazy fast on our indoor track, everybody @ the track said dang that truck has alot of horsepower.

Oh and im not puttin Gt2 down, cause they r the best st's right now @ the moment, but the firestorm, about like it. I guess u have to copy the winner to be a winner.

RE: HPI Firestorm?? or others?
A man go with the Firestorm, they r great racers, I just bought 1 today, all I can say is sweet, another guy at my track has one and he won the A-main last Sat. and there were Gt2s racin. Now, GT2 is better, thats only because the GT2 is the best stadium truck aorund right now, but firestorm, is about the same as GT2. Firstorm is definely way better than those crappy Jatos on a track. Go for the firstorm bro!!!! As a matter a fact there gettin very popular around here, all my LHS's have put crap loads pf parts on order since the firestorm is so popular.

RE: Stampede or E-maxx?
Sorry if i sound rude, but what kind of ? is that. Bro go with the E-maxx, u will love it. I have 1. My lil bro has the stampede. Both r good but, th maxx has more speed, tons of tourq. Its up to u. I mean downs side to the emaxx is 2 packs to run, but get 7 cell packs, i guarantee, the emaxx would kill that new stampede. Minds is insane in terms of tourq on 7cells.

RE: Tamiya F-150 Race Truck
A guys, as I said earlier I will be posting pictures soon. I seen in earlier post that hunter was having trouble putting a pack in his f-150. Well guys I have managed to put a 7 cell gp 3300 pack in my tamiya Eunos Roadster. My car has the same battery slot as the f-150. These packs were originally for my Emaxx. I sold it, and i still had these layin around, they were custom built

RE: Tamiya F-150 Race Truck
LOL Hunter I just read your post lol, about the shaft being thin as a coat hanger, just like the hummer, lol. I guess I could not see that well on that picture thats how slow and messed up this comp. im on is. Well I will be looking into an aftermarket shaft before I buy it. My hummer has that thin shaft, I don't like it, i like the hummer but not the shaft.

Thanks for the picture hunter. I will be gettin 1 of these, because from the picture, I can see that the shaft is thicker than the hummers shaft, the hummer has a thin 1. Oh I will post my pictures of my models, soon. Im gettin a new notebook, and digital camera in like a week or so.

Lunch I ran it with the D6 8x2 ITS CRAZY FAST Man. Has to be going around 45-50mph. I use tire coumpound on my rears, it still spins out though lol. i can get it up to speed though. The drive train has been holdin up. I will be putting my silver can back in soon, I miss my super long run times, but I really love the speed.

RE: Tamiya M03 vs. Brushless
Yeah I agree with combat. I have a Tamiya Eunos Roadster its the M04M chassis, anyways, I have been running a Trinity D6 8X2 in it, it screams down the street, I have been clocked at 48.7mph by my next door neighbor huh is a cop. I use sticky tire compound on my rear tires, still does not keep them from spinning out, but it helps. My drive train is fine, no wear.
