RE: The Unofficial all things Jet drive thread
I'm so keen to get these boats in a showcase in Australian Jetboat events, I'm sticking to these threads like glue! How does the hull look? Does it look true and straight? Any pics?

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread
Just thought I should pass this on: http://www.ausrc.com/forum/showthread.php?29592-Tamiya-Nitrage It's $150 RTR, great for a second runner or for spares. It's not mine, It has had no replies since the 9/2/2012 so it could go cheaper.

On closer inspection it is not the same engine, it has a squareish barrell, mine is round.

Hey thanks, I found it as well last night right after I posted. Now I just have to get an X437 3 blade prop. Any other advice on the boat would be great. Cheers, Brett.

RE: Proboat Miss Budweiser 1/12 – Awesome!
As far as I know it came with that engine when it was new, it was a gift rom a fellow RCer on the ausrc forum and that's what he said. I would love to get this boat running and I can't afford a new engine (i'm a disabillity pensioner) so I will need to find a head for it or shelf it. I think this is it. http://www.b2brchobby.com/RGB241201-S21.htm it says it's a VX21. Cheers

No idea at all, it was second hand when I got it. The only markings on the side of the engine is 21 and a capital "C" under that. I'm guessing the "C" stands for "crap" or "copy" LOL

RE: Proboat Miss Budweiser 1/12 – Awesome!
Anyone still running these? I was just given a Hydro Formula Turbo 29" with .21 engine. I am missing the water cooled head on the engine and it has a solid shaft and fixed skeg. I plan to get the X437/3 prop for it and see how it goes. Does anyone know where I can get a water cooled head for it, it has 4 bolts to mount the head. Cheers, Brett.

TMaxx 1.5 help.
I just recieved an old TMaxx 1.5 with a 2.5 engine. I haven't run it yet as it was in a thousand pieces and I had to re-build it. I have it about 90% completed but..... When I push the car forward the spur gear does not turn, is this normal or is there a problem in the centre diff? Cheers, Brett.

Hydro nitro/BL conversion help.
I have a 39" .21 nitro hydro that I want to convert to BL. I need some suggestions for motor size etc. The skeg is full length and not adjustable (see Pic), any ideas how to fix this so I can adjust the prop angle and height or is this just a waist of time. Cheers, Brett.

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread
Thanks for the reply Coalminer, did you say smoke? Yes this thing is smoking very well, it has a nice stream of smoke behind it at full throttle! I run all my bashers like that. I also have a HSP Tornado roller, just waiting on a motor for it to arrive in the post. My favorite is my Smartech Winner pro two speed 1/10th roady with an O.S CVX .12, that thing rips! I constantly blow off .18 engine cars at my local car park every time i run it. A tuned exhaust for the nitrage is next, just need to save a bit more cash! Cheers, Brett. [:D]

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread
ORIGINAL: rcpowerhorse if your still using the stock radio and servos i suggest changing them to something better
Yes the original radio gear is crap! No steering rake adjustment on the TX and the steering servo has 10 degrees more travel in one direction. [:'(] New Technisport 2.4Ghz radio gear already to go in! Next will be sway bars, pipe, shocks, new tyres (they are crap as well) and 3 shoe HPI clutch. I did notice the outline for an air hole cutout in the front screen, should i cut that hole out or just leave it? Anyhting else i should do? Cheers, Brett. [:D]

RE: Tamiya Nitrage 5.2, The Offical Thread
Hi all, So glad i found this thread! I just got a Nitrage second hand off RCTECH for $270 AU. It's complete including radio gear, rotostart with battery and charger, glow ignighter, fuel bottle, instruction manual, sticker sheet and tools plus 3 litres of 25%. He said it has only had 1 litre through it and after seeing it i believe him. I have had 6 tanks of fun out of it so far and not a single problem! Until now the biggest nito engine i had run was a .21, this thing is a real eye opener! Here are some pics. Cheers, Brett. [:D]

RE: Back yard race tracks.
My mate and I had a run yesterday on my track. He was driving a 6C TMax and i had an eZilla stock, both his cars. Thanks to "rcroadtrain". It was ton's of fun, though the TMax had 700W of power compaired to the silver can motors on the eZilla, i prefer the eZilla. The new tracks great, will post some pics and video soon! Cheers, Brett. RE: Official Smartech Thread
2nd that for the Manuals! I have been given a Smartech Nissan Skyline 2 spd with SMT engine. The car just appeared on my doorstep inside a fruit box, there was a HSP Tornado MT in there as well. There are some really generous people out there! It looks brand new, has no scratches and the engine seems to have plenty of compression. I doubt it has even been run in yet. Unfortunatly it has no manual. [:o] Anyone know where i can download one? Cheers, Brett. [:D]

Any Losi "Street Weapons" out there?
Hey all, I have a Losi IDC Street Weapon that's just waiting on belts. I don't know much about them, are there any "Street Weapon" gurus out there still running these cars? I have a few setup sheets but i think i will have to get a setup tool for best results. I will be running mine on smooth asphalt at a local school. This is mine so far, i'm deciding which body to get at the moment, i will probably go with a Protoform 190mm shell. Cheers, Brett. [:D]
