RE: Al's Hobbies Mach 1 Jet
For those that are woried about grass operation, i did loads of flying with the prototype-prototype that had a 54 size engine and would fly it in and out of a 40m (120ft) circle cut in a medow and it was all fine, Dave

RE: MUSTANG T51 3/4 SCALE (how big would you like)
Well i got my hands dirty and did some painting myself today!! I know I know but i had to give it a try. been watching Dave and he makes it look easy! Anyway after som calls and texts to dave about mix ratios etc i did the insignias on the side. As a note Nigel, i painted the numbers on the fin with 1k acrylic as aposed to the activated basecoat and the masks were not afected by the paint and the masks pulled away cleanly. Dave

RE: MUSTANG T51 3/4 SCALE (how big would you like)
Ni Nigel, We have tried leaving the paint a week, then we tried 1 day, then we tried 20 mins (pant was still wet and it stretched) we even tried spraying a bit with no thiners as what appears to be happening is the paint is attacking the mask making it go a bit soft and making it curdle slightly. I think this is whats causing the problem as the paint is "welding" itself to the cut edged of the mask. anyway, it still looks fine and after Dave has spent a day playing with the airbrush it will be perfect!!! Im looking forward to burning holes in the sky now!! Dave

RE: BVM Electra ARF
Ali Flew his BVM Built Electra ARF at Florida Jets and was very impressed! he also picked up his ready built Electra for P60 power. The Electra is not much smaller than a Bandit but a fair bit more slippery. i think it would be ideal with a P60 Dave

RE: Futaba FASST feedback and TESTING
just a heads up, we had a one of our members have a problem on Saturday, he was flying a trainer on the 6, he had 1 flight, then went to fly it again and he could not get the RX to listen to the TX. the Chairman of the club got his 0000 rated RX test kit out and the TX worked it perfectly with no re-binding. This was on a transmitter that had been previously checked and had the Ripmax "tested" sticker on it. Beware! this TX is on its way to Ripmax for testing. Dave

RE: Airworld Panther settings and CG needed
no mixing with flaps, and it flys like a dream, but it will bite you if you are agressive with the elevator on the flair and approach. here is a picture of mine on landing (see flaps, airbrakes etc.) at Hungary at the 5th World Jet Masters

RE: Airworld Panther settings and CG needed
i used belly flaps and the front airbrakes for landing (about 50 deg flaps) and you can do the approach on 1/2 power with exellent throttle response. as for movements thats personal preference, i had about 30 degrees on ail. and elevator and it flew lovely slightly nose heavy (i have no mesurements though, sorry) Dave

RE: Pull over products wing bags
take care with the ASK 21 wings, if they are Profilm/Oracover like my Airworld ASK 21 then the bubble wrap inside the bags will eat away at the film. i have got to get my wings re-covered this winter because of this. Dave

RE: Regards from Italy
im guessing here, but i think it was to do with stability of pressure, co2 pressure changes considerably with temperature, and the tubes have to run close to their burst point to work. with a bit of reworking they could probably be made to work
