RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
ORIGINAL: cumminspower5.9
ORIGINAL: wyumez Has anyone found a permanent fix for our drive cup problem? I've read reports of the HR drive cups breaking as well.
Ha! Run it with a NiMH battery. Either that or JB weld the dogbones into the drivecups. The biggest issue to failing drivecups is the slop. If the slop can be taken care of, it should fix the problem. Either that or CVD's will take care of it. With the pins on the dogbones not fitting tight into the cup, it allows them to "snap" to seat itself to get power to the wheels. Overtime, it leave indents in the cup and weakens it.
The cupjoint of hotracing breaks? Mine arrived this week ... still not installed '-' Only solution is to spend JB? Durepox? But it will be very rigid ...

Anyone know what this noise might be? I opened that box and everything ok ta ... also open that part smaller, and everything is right with the gears, but doing this weird noise ... This is the rear differential. The front works without noise. This Dogbones without connecting to the engine, I also pulled the engine ... finally. this light and loose. OMG ... buy this part of hotracing? hpi or stock? HPI105813 Idler Gear 32t-56t costs 6,99 the same by hotracing costs 20,00 too expensive, I can buy three gears of hpi

RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
I installed another 4 bumpers, liked the end result ... seems to become more agile. I drove about 20 minutes and stopped it, activated the protection of ESC because it was too hot. This has nothing to do with the 100 grams more than the bumpers add right? or have? I put a thermometer in the sink today and 10 minutes later the temperature reached 80 degrees Celsius / 175 ° Fahrenheit.

Estou pensando em comprar + 4 amortecedor, e instalar os mesmos. Totalizando 8 amortecedores. Será que fica bom? De aluminio mais baratos tem os da GPM e da HOTRACING...
ORIGINAL: xDIRTYSOUTHx Was going to wait to get new shocks until the stock ones broke.. well, the rear shocks are broken after 2 packs of light bashing. The bottom plastic snapped. Can anyone suggest some decent upgrade shocks for the XS? Was looking at some proline shock from tower but they are $50 for rear set.. I'm looking to spend around $20 or so.
RE: Official HPI Savage Flux XS thread...
ORIGINAL: chasehq Sounds like those Hot Racing cups and outdrives are the way to go, only heard good things about them. Got bored of the factory look so de-chromed the wheel's and removed most of the decals (well the "Hpi" ones anyway). Ordered a clear body from Omni and will probably paint it up like my baja. I'm going to get the HPI black Scorch wheels, just cant decide on tires.... want something the same size as factory. Anyone else's XS hesitate on start off? If I punch it from a standstill, it does a short wheelie, stalls then goes full power? it's not cogging, but I wonder if it's motor stall as I've never experienced it before on a brushless setup..
What wheels are these? you took the chrome or painted? or are another set of wheels?
ORIGINAL: NewBlackDak It's 25x25x7. The stock fan doesn't have the normal tiny fan connector. It has a standard servo lead. Look on pg 118. Does anybody have a fix for the slipper nut backing off? No amount of blue locktite or losilock will keep mine in place. I'm afraid to put the red on it. Is there is a lock nut that can be used?
Thanks, already bought one of these, was the only one I found in my country. And I opened the esc, I forgot that I'd lose the warranty.
