RE: Jetpower 2012
Just got back from a wonderful 3 full days at Jetpower. My wife came with me this year and I was concerned that she would not be able to put up with 3 days at the event. I was pleasantly surprised however as she enjoyed the first 2 days so much she said she would like to go for the third day (We had planned to spend the last day touring around the area as it is quite lovely) but jetpower it was. This was excellent as for her the third day with the airshow, Jetman and the team flying to music was excellent. It was interesting to get her perspective and I guess the dilemma the organisers have is whether Jetpower is a trade fair or a model airshow. Or perhaps both To get the public in you need the team flying the music and all the other wiz bangs. For me I would have liked to see more of the smaller normal models that are available fly. ie the ones more affordable to the average modeller. On the pricing side many of the products were the same price as on the vendors web sites so no real 'Show Offers' in my view. All in all however I felt it was an excellent 3 days not to be missed if you are keen on RC jets. To be an exhibitor in one of the large tents must be anoying as you cant see any of the flying. This is where Boomerang and CARF and a couple of the others outside are lucky Well done and thanks to all involved who made it happen

RE: JETPOWER 2012 products WOW !
Now while the Reds Duo (The Bishop Boys) were amazing as ever and did the UK proud. I was amazed at how good some of the other countries teams are getting Now dont you think Ali being one of the best in the world needs to team up with a mate from the UK and create a 2nd UK team to knock the competition into touch.

RE: JETPOWER 2012 products WOW !
Well just back in our hotel after an amazing last day at Jetpower. Amazing flying today the team/syncro for so many teams was amazing. The flight of the full size macchi with his son flying a model in syncro was the highlight of the show for me and of course we all got to see Yves Rossy the jet man doing his stuff jetting around with 4 Jetcat P200SX's and then parachuteing to ground. What an excellent Jetpower this has been with brilliant weather. If you have never been make the effort and go next year it is well worth it

RE: JETPOWER 2012 products WOW !
Flights of the day for me were: Seb Art flying his Avanti The Bishop boys with the Hawks The two J10's Ali flying his electric hair drier F86 And the last flight of the day was 6 Skygate L39,s in formation. Pity one of them was lost at the end of the display and only 5 came home. Thats the Horizone team down to 2 tomorrow. Great pity

And here we have the Airworld Skyrunner 300. I was taking the pics and I think I heard the guy from Airworld saying is was 690 Euro. I was interested up until that point. Well it is airworld fiberglass For that money if I am correct you would think they would have moulded in a hand hold on the bottom

RE: Which turbine?
ORIGINAL: Geoff White I have a P180Rx is my Airworld Hunter and it runs fantastic. I bought it new in January his year and I am up to 16 Hours run time now so it has had a lot of running. As mine was a very early one there were some issues with slow spool times but that was resolved very quickly by the factory and since then, I can honestly say it has been faultless. I also own two P160SX's and I am considering upgrading one to a P180RX so you can see I am very happy with it. Can comment on the others as I have never owned them. Geoff.
Having seen Geof fly his Hunter several times with the Jetcat 180. I have to say it performs very well indeed
