RE: Great Planes 41" YAK 54 Elevator Issues
Yea I got one up and ready last thurs, tested it on the sat after, perfect taxi and takeoff, 1 click trim on ele and 1 click trim on ali, went up leg turned around and BAM the ele fluddered took out the servo and nosed in. Took out the esc also. I fired a note to the service dept at GP they told me I got a 90day warranty and to send the intire plane, receipt, and a copy of the note for another kit. Well don't that beat all, I'd have to cut off the wings with the band saw and stomp it a box to ship it. The cost of shipping alone would negate any freebee back from them. I thought there is a law regarding painless warranty. That ain't painless by any means. fyi. the Brio has the same prob, both the Brio and the Yak need wire supports at the tail to stop the fludder. To me it seems like a defect that they know about and don't want to take the time to re tool.

RE: What should my head speed be?
Rick P, Hope your adjusting your RPM with a pinion change mostly. The down side of adjusting your RPM with the throtle curve is you may over amp your battery. Better to keep the motor running as much rpm as possible for power efficiency. slow the shaft with pinion. my O-pinion

RE: Which heli is suprior...T-rex XL or SA?
The SA is the same as the SE except for a few items. The main part is the aluminum frame verses carbon. The head has some bling. Its reported to be lighter than the SE but don't see how. It is setup with eCCPM wich will make it more slop free than a MPM plastic fantastic Trex! It should make a great second Rex for thoes that like the SE setup at a cheaper price. Ditch the toy blades they send with it and get some good carbon blades.

RE: T-Rex 450 SE or MX400 Pro
H Doc, Please use the recomended screws on your servo arms, not using them is really asking for a spectacular crash! Tj :-)

RE: Cell Balancers - How Important?
Hi Guys, I have a Schulze LiPo card and am trying to find a contact for or someone to make a balancer adapter for some TP lite packs. Have a balance cable kit but no knowledge. I could probably figure it out after a month but I believe there is someone out there that make this type of thing their business and just don't know who. Any takers? Tom J
