1000mm art tech corsair
hello out there.. was hoping someone can help me with some advise. I have the art tech corsair and have flown it with some success but would like to upgrade the motor to give it more power the stock set up is ok but it's kinda weak I have to have it at 3/4 to almost full throttle to keep the speed up. I'm using a 1300mah 20c 11.1 sky lipo battery in it havent crashed it...yet.. so i know the motor is ok any advise would be greatly appreciated

This was a day at the field with Waco's and a few others. Light winds always bring out the bi-planes.

Guys I have heard that using a sheet Bounce will remove the bugs. My son lives in the south and has used this many times. Even love bugs..

RE: GP Waco?
ORIGINAL: AncientCityFlyer Well, if the weather holds I plan on doing the maiden on Sat am. Forcast looks good. Mine balanced right on the spot and came in 12.75 lbs. I've added a few exra touches in the final finishing. Had some extra ''Cub Yellow'' & Black covering sitting around so I coverd the upper wing joints. They were very tight to begin with but I thought it really made it look like single wing. Also placed my fuel dot and access hole for adjusting the carb on the right side of the fuse in the black scallop. Hard to spot unless you're up close. Also added some cockpit coaming to the aft cockpit. Will do the same for the forward cockpit later. I just want to get this sweety in the air.
The full scale had a 3 piece wing the joints show.
ORIGINAL: lablover
ORIGINAL: vasek like in the pic, just make sure not to use a to big of a drill[:D][:D]
That helps, thanks a million The drill cracked me up
Also not all the holes are in a straight line with the grain of the prop. More chance to split the prop on no so nice of a landing were you bump the prop. Just the way I do it..
ORIGINAL: lablover Here is my finished prop...Just like the real one....Almost
Nice looking prop, but you should drill your next one with the bolt holes rotated 45 degrees so the bolt holes are not lined up with the center hold. Its just the way I was taught.
ORIGINAL: Ali Habus are in our stores now. Nice mobile hangar Dennis! Room for plenty more than just a Habu in their! I am using Differential and crow both at the same time, yes. Darren.... You know it makes sense! I initially thought that as I am not a big fan of small jets. I would limit myself to one P-20. Well I am ashamed to say that number 4 is on its way.. and I have a serious itch that needs scratching which involves converting an Airworld ME262 to 2x P-20's.. oh and I have just ordered a small swift acro glider that is going to need powering by something [8|] Regards Al
Ali, Can you elaborate on your Aileron differential and crow. Mesurements and how you use the.

I've look at most of the Waco's on here and I don't see any tail feather braces ? Not needed or scale? I will have one of these sometime and will add them.

flight sim for playstation 3??
Was just wondering if any of the flight Sims would ever be released for other platforms such as the ps3 or Xbox. If they can make things like guitars and drums work on them i'm sure they can develop some kind of rc radio device..the graphics I'm sure would be great and I think there would be money to be made. Some of us don't have computers that can handle these programs or the computers not free as much as they would like..
ORIGINAL: scubajohn hi i bought 1/5th scale waco pica kit and want to know what you guys think the best engine for it would be a dle 100 maybe? i like power
Your thinking of a 5.5 lb. engine on a 12 lb. plane. A G-26 is more then enough power and keep the wings on. I have a Y.S. 120 on mine.
ORIGINAL: fire fly 58 Hi guys , I recently lost the vertical stabs on my Cox 1/5 scale Waco. It's repairable but will need a total recovering. I don't think I want to recover with fabric, just don't want to spend that much money on this model. I'm thinking about Ultracote and need the nearest match of the yellow and red and suggestions
They were really covered with Sigcote the colors are just slightly off like from different lot #. It works very good.
