Tornado s30 new tires
Its about time to replace the rear tires on my tornado.. Starting to get very poor traction.. I was thinking about getting just another set of the chrome rims and tires, Standard on the car.. I thought i ask here if there are any better options. I see the rims with no opening which seems like a good idea so nothing jam up my wheels. Let me know.. Thanks

Stronger drive cups for tornado s30
Any one make stronger drive cups for tornado s30..... They take a beating bashing in the grass and can only hold up for so long.. Today my rear one wore out and caused the dog bone to bind, I actually snapped the end right off the dog bone.. Luckly I had extra drive cup and dog bone laying around. But now I am out of drive cups.. figure I see if I could get stronger ones before I buy some more extras.

RE: Cant bind standard 2.4g radio
After a lot of time I was able to get it to bind.. Asuma video was a bit wrong. I had to push the bind button in the module until it was blinking, then with the radio off push the bind button on the radio, while holding that flip the radio on and it binded to the module.

Having trouble with my tornado Tune
It seems to have gone completely out of whack. 1st question can a tune go from being fine to all messed up all of a sudden?? The car is randomly stalling and then giving me trouble getting it started. I changed the glow plug thinking it might be that since it stalled a few times right after I took the igniter off. It also seems to have a lot of raw fuel coming out of the exhaust which would mean it running way to rich. I started leaning it out but it was getting dark I gave up before I could resolve the problem. Today I reset the LSN and HSN to factory setting, figure I would start from scratch, I have not had time to try it out yet though. Couple of times the car would run for a few mins, trying from stop to full speed then all sudden stall. I figure it the tune but I still new to this stuff and I suck at tuning. Side note it was not switching gears either. Took that apart and what did I find the set screw for the 2 speed tyranny was gone LOL. Glad I hold on to old parts that I took off the car, I had plenty of set screws laying around to fix that problem.

RE: Where to buy an electric starter for the S30?
I hate Pull Starts!!!! When I first got my car that dang pull start refused to start the car. I had blister on my hands on almost every finger trying to get the car started. I said f this and bought the roto start. Freakin amazing all i do is push a button bang it started. I never use a pull start again. The only trouble I had with the redcat drill start is the on botton. It tend to stop working after a few times becuase the metal plate gets burnt up. I cut that crap out and wired a on off switch and it worked perfectly since.

Tornado S30 14MM hex w/ one way bearing
Does anyone know of a company that makes a stronger 14mm hex with one way bearing. The bearing in the center of the larger spur gear in the center diff. Here is link to redcat's part http://www.urchobby.com/proddetail.php?prod=06267. Part number 06267. Today the second one of these failed in my car. I have had the car less then a year so I was hoping someone knew of a stronger one. I don't want to have to keep buying these things every time they fail. I checked with my local hobby house but he had nothing like it. Thanks for any help.

RE: Tornado S30 Stoped Responding
HMMM seems it was the onboard batterys. I just took them off the charger to see and the car is responding normally now. I am guessing they were low causing a problem but still had enought power to activate the fail safe. Lucky me lol. I have the recharble battery pack from redcat installed. Do you think they could of got low from sitting alot lately do to weather??

RE: Redcat is crap uh?
Redcat is a great company with very good products. People just shit on them becuase there reasonable priced. And Traxxas, Losi, HPI are over priced. Face it all brands of RC anything break. That is the nature of this hobby. I personal have a Redcat Tornado S30. I love it. Was bumpy when it was new. Mostly I had been out of the hobby for awhile and was a noob. A few things broke here and there. Now that the car is broken in. She starts right up with no effort run perfectly every time. I have not broken anything in months. Knock on wood lol. Only 2 things broke on the car that were not my fault. Both cost be about 5 dollars to fix. The one way bearing in the center diff went on me and the throttle server went. Other things were from crashing. Broke a wheel off once after a bad crash. Bent the front shock brace (replaced with thicker one for 20 bucks and that thing is unbendable). Broke a few dogbones becuase Gravel got stuck in the wheels (totally my fault.. Gravel parketing lot is not for rc cars).

RE: What would Redcat fans like to see come out next?
I would like to see a brushless boat or Helicoptors. My gf bought me a small gryo helicopter for xmas. Thing was bad azz but sadly it just randomly stoped flying and I have no idea why. Does not seem to have the power it used to have so it wont lift off. It is a double horse.

Tornado S30 + Icy Parking Lot = FUN!!
Live on a huge dirt parking lot. It snowed then rained and then got really cold. Hole parking lot was a big sheet of ice. Decided that would be a fun time with my buggy. I was right!! I was dirfting all over the place. Doing 360s and jumping it off some small snow banks. What a blast lol. To bad that the parking lot only get like that will alot of luck once in a blue moon. what are the chances of burning up a servo if it gets wet? I have stock one on the throttle and a Team intergy metal gear high tourge one on the steering. Both still work fine but I was wondering if that might happen. Ice and stuff did get all over the car. I saw some traxxas servos that stated water they were water proof. So if these happen to get messed up I just have to get those.

RE: Redcat has stop selling S & W Nitro Fuel
I use Traxxas 20 percent. LHS told me it it has more oil then other brands. Get a little less preformance but you engine will last longer. I opted for the longer engine life.

Help with Tornado S30 center diff (center trans)
I just got the parts in and rebuilt my center diff. I replaced the 2 speed tranny clutch and one way bearing that is on the main spur gear. I also changed out the 2nd gear spur gear. I put the diff back together and it seem for some reason the main gear does not spin easily. It is like it rubbing on something and binding up. If I don’t tighten the screws that hold the case together all the way the problem is not as bad. But something doesn’t seem right. Any suggestions would be great.
