RE: Slipstream MXS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks guys... Like you said the QC was pretty bad, they have the star on my green one and it was missing one whole point on the right wing! Wasn't too impressed... Steve I ordered two rolls of the green from Hobby King, it wasn't even close.... Sam

I think I've been banned also and don't know why ??? Can't pull the website up on my home computer....looks like a ip ban... I've always kept my nose clean and they haven't answered any of my messages yet ??? Kinda hard to understand if you don't even know or are told what you did wrong ??? I'm confused, I've been a RCC member for years! with 100% positive feed back... Just wish they'd get back to me...

RE: Shuswap Lake Aero Models 2010 Fall Classic Float Fly Pictures!
Thanks for the nice feed back guys, I have to credit my wife Beverly for all her hard work at the event, I think she took something like 1600 pictures. After all the sorting she worked it down to 700+. If you find the time or are close enough, the event is a must for next year! All the best & thanks again, Sam & Beverly Team Tracon

RE: Hobby Lobby Cessna 172 Pictures & Videos
Thanks for the kind words Guys ! Beverly (Mrs. Tracon) is the one behind the lens, she did an awesome job taking picture of our new Cessna 172 on its maiden flight. Darren, yes I did notice the picture in the MAAC magazine...we sent those to MAAC last winter to be blown up for posters for that show. Keep your eyes out for an up coming article that we are writing for FLYRC magazine coming soon

Hobby Lobby Cessna 172 Pictures & Videos
Hi Everyone, I know this took a long time to complete and to get all the info about the completed plane and its maiden flight. Here's all the information about the plane and its maiden flight... Info about the plane: Hobby Lobby Cessna 172 All Wood ARF. AXI 2212/26 (Silver) Outrunner Motor. Castle Creations Phoenix 25 ESC. 4 x Hitec HS-55 Servos. Expert Receiver R650 6ch Micro FM. 8X6 Slow Flyer APC Prop. GWS Floats. Modifications Made to the Plane: All covering removed and recovered. Cowl sanded and repainted. New battery bay cut and tray built in fuse foward against firewall. Full scratch built scale cockpit. Thin plywood firewall layer added to outer firewall to seal water out. Aileron Servos mounted flat and hidden inside wings. Plane mounted on GWS Floats. The Maiden Flight: The maiden flight was quite successful, I had a hard time getting off the water on the first try, I didn't have enough elevator throw and I couldn't get unstuck from the surface tension on the water. I came back to the beach and clicked my high rates on and gave it another go, with the extra throw she lifted off the water without a problem. In the air after I trimmed her out and pulled the throttle back she flew awesome, very solid in the air and no ugly tip stall characteristics. Here's the video of the Maiden Flight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BF1CgHnxPwM Here's some pictures from the maiden flight: Video from the Thrird Flight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5yFHmF0-oQ We have a bunch more pictures of our cessna 172 on our website which can be viewed at www.teamtracon.com Thanks for your interest, Sam

What I did to get rid of the gaps, (After using epoxy to glue them together permanently) was cover the gaps using automotive pin striping... No more gape and gives it a nice finish ! Sam
