RE: Props
A polished prop is a fast prop. I balance/polish/sharpen my own props. I have a couple done by the pro's. Don't see a difference. I do not do cupping/cutting. That I let the pro's do. I have a gasser 55" cat and a small 16" electric hydro. Just added a .12 Zippkits rigger to the fleet. Hope to have the nitro in the water in a couple of weeks.

I have that plane. Never tried to recover a boat with it. I wouldn't use it for that... Nice plane and easy to fly.

RE: go-pro on boats
Just picked up the Hero 2. Cool little unit. Slapped it on my Bandit VXL for a test run. 1080p HD. Youtube does not do full HD justice.... Can't wait to get it on my boat! Oh, please note that the camera with water proof housing weighs 6oz(no mount). I flipped my Bandit because the COG was all wacked out. Keep that in mind when you mount this camera....... Have fun!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBdlP5fakww

RE: This is my first work wildthing mono
Did you try to anneal the tube? Heat the bend area with a propane torch until it dis-colors. Let it cool. Then bend it. The anneal process will make the bend area softer and easier to bend. Hope this helps.

That's an air-o setup. Will not work for marine. Nuf said.... Air/Marine have different RPM/torque needs.

RE: Blackjack Owners...lets see um!
Water outlets are the same. Shortest way to get the water out the better. I relocated water pump closer to the engine and used a stiffer line to drive it. That will cut down the pressure to drive the pump. I used the stock clutch with the M5. Never had an issue. Replaced the bearing once, 145min on that setup. 47.3mph/15959rpm with 6717/3 on GPS. I got rid of the clutch due to the hp of this monster. Had to upgrade the drive line. I spun one stock cable with the M5 mod. Go with 1/4" prop shaft. 3/16" is too small. Hit anything with that shaft it will bend/snap. There goes your $75 prop.... Hope to have her out soon.....

RE: Blackjack Owners...lets see um!
Upgraded to WHH M5 upgrade to the Zen. New rudders, relocated tank, relocated water pump, added remote kill switch, tach, other small bits, and radio gear. That was the first pass.... Upgraded drive line to 1/4" prop shaft, no clutch, and new strut. Dropped in a Gizmo Motors 29.5 full race mod with pipe. She has yet to hit the water with this setup. :( And a few props....

RE: CT, MASS, NY, RI HELP!!!!!! Please!! Enforcer!
Had the same issue with my M5 Zen a couple of years ago. It was the diaphragm in the carb. Swapped it out and it ran like a champ. I swap'em out every 6 months when I take the boat out of winter storage.

RE: New motor for BJ55
I did change the fuel tank. I got an enforcer tank from WHH and mounted it forward of the engine. I created a mount that can move the tank forward and aft 6 inches. Should keep the nose down a bit...until she gets lite on fuel. Never had a blow over yet...M5/WHH upgrade, 257 carb, stock pipe, and 6713/3. 47.5 top speed on this setup. Rolled a few times.... Already thinking of a new hull. Just needed an excuse to get one. [:D]

RE: LiPo Q
Runtime 10+ seconds per run. Four runs flat out. Setup listed.?. Twin batts out of the question, hull too small. There has to be a basic formula for current even with different props.?. I' ve been looking for that formula since I started electric boats.?? [:o]

LiPo Q
Did a couple speed runs with my DF 16" hydro. 3695kv motor, 2200 11.1v 3s 25c LiPo, 90a esc, BEC, and Octura 435 prop. Motor and esc not that warm. Battery was warm to hot. Battery was swollen/puffed up about 1/8 inch top and bottom. It still took a charge. Did not use it yet. Never had this problem with aircraft/heli LiPo's. Still new to boats. Is it safe to use? I have two other batteries as backups. Just got my radar gun today. Now I can see how fast she is. [:D] Thanks!

RE: Water in hull
Water thru the pipe can't make its way to starboard side of the hull.?. BJ55 has drain plugs on port/starboard. Each side had water. Boat is stock except for M5 upgrade and relocated fuel tank. I have new O rings and will replace them. No loss in power.?. I'll have her out again in a couple of days....test and tune....it never ends. Nothing but fun....haha. R/C planes are cool...boats are fun. [:)]

Water in hull
Had the boat out today. She ran great. After every run I had water in the hull.?. Second run was about 10-12min. Had about a 3/4 - 1 pint of water in the hull. Drained it out the hull. Sat her in the water for 15min and no water leaked in?? Water only leaked in under power. All water lines secured with zip ties. No leaks on the water pump.
