Remove both rings, run bowman ring in top grove, run only one ring, per Frank B.

RE: 15cc Gas RCGF engine information thread
This is after setting the Low and High speed needles, or running them the way you got them? I have adjusted both Hi and low needles. I have a second carb that I have checked and cleaned, I will change the carb and check the pluming out. Thanks, Bill

RE: 15cc Gas RCGF engine information thread
Hi, I need some help with a RCGF 15. I bought it used add it was not the best deal I ever made. I set the timing to 28 deg. BTDC the best way I could. The motor is very hard to start, I have to use a starter to get fuel to the carb. It runs good but I can only get 6000-6100 RPM's with a Xoar 15-6 prop. Looking for more top end power, is my timing off? Plug, NGK Gas 94/32.1 Klotz Anyone have any ideas, I am at sea level so it should make fair power. I want to put this on a Kadet Sr. but want to get it running better. Thanks, Bill

RE: Another Sig Kadet LT-40 build.
Gary, If you take the cross out of the cables, that might fix it. I'm working on a SR and LT40, I put a servo in the back on the SR to run the tail wheel. I was going to build the wing Flat on my LT 40, I hope it works, it will be a tail dragger and I was going to build a tiller like you did. Thanks, Bill

RE: Another Sig Kadet LT-40 build.
ORIGINAL: GaryHarris
ORIGINAL: repirazz Gary- Any chance you could have the charge jack plug hooked to your reciever? That would cause ''backward switch'' syndrome since the charge jack circuit only complete when switch is in the off position. Just a thought.
Ill be darned. That's it! Thank you! Note to self, the red plug goes to the RX.
That's Funny stuff. I have been watching this build. Did you build the wing flat? Bill

RE: Magnum XL 52 RFS
Thank you for the info, I run 8 - 8oz tanks of fuel through the motor and it is coming to life. I am happy with the motor so far for the price. It will not hold a idle at all, I have tried to lean the low end but have not found a sweet spot yet. If I leave the glow driver on the plug it will idle as low as I want it. I'm thinking about putting an on board glow on it. My back ground is Racing RC Boats and I always run Novarossi motors. Thanks, Bill

Magnum XL 52 RFS
Hi, I am breaking in a New Magnum XL 52 and was wondering what is the best prop for this motor? I am breaking the motor in on test stand, and the RPM is weak with a APC 11 X 7 8800-8900. I have worked with a MA K 12X5 prop also but nothing get up to 10,000-10,500 RPM. The motor is going in a Sig Kadet LT-40. I would be grateful for any help. Thanks, Bill

YS 63 FZ Cam Timing
Hi Dave, I took my YS 63 FS a part to change the bearings. Do you have any tricks to get the cam bearings out that are rusted and Stuck, I have tried every trick I have and they are still stuck. I am not sure how to set the timing when I put the cam back in the motor. I see a Dot on the cam, is that TDC when the piston is TDC? Sorry, this is my first 4 stroke rebuild, I have done a bunch of 2 stroke motors.
