Looking for set of bearings for MBX6!
Hello people, I'm undecided what bearing set buy for my Mugen MBX6. I would like to pick a good "set" or "kit" that comes many bearings and all the sizes needed/used for the MBX6 as spares. In my search , i.e. ebay, they offer lot of them but most of them come in either metal shield or rubber shield for the whole kit. I'm not sure what's the size for the clutch bearing, but I know it's recomended using the metal shield, the rubber might be better for the knuckles and the teflon for the diff cases. I want a very good long lasting set of bearing, nothing nice and cheap. I can pay more for soemthing that really worth it, a well good known brand or just a goo set of bearings. Any input feedback much appreciated. RE: What pipe/header for Toronero .21?
Yes, but is not like we are many running these engines down here yet, so no much info in different pipes/combos ofr this engine for "our data base". I finally bought this pipe, the Dynamite. This seems to perform equal to the Novarossi pipe suggested for the Toronero according to a friend of mine down here as he is used both and says the engine feels about the same.

What pipe/header for Toronero .21?
Hello guys, I wonder what pipe should I get between these two pipes for the Toronero. For instance the Nova pipe is EFRA approveed wich is good, but down here we are free to run watever pipe/combo we want and I'm not goign outside of this country to race a international championship yet. The dynamite combo pipe/header is cheaper, looks good performance is good in the JP engien of a friend but not sure how does it work with the Toronero. This is for my Mugen MBX6 1/8th Buggy off road. Toronero .21 vs JP B5-n .21 !!
Hey guys! I was wondering what would be a best purchase between this two bad boys. As well if someone has feedback on them. I pretend to use any of these two engine in my Mugen MBX6 1/8th buggy, the track is more technical, like 80% of it it's turns, jumps, holes, etc, just a simple stright line that is not that big. Also, a buddy of mine who has the Toronero reported to achieve about 10:40 mins of gas with a 6mm venturi! Not sure how does the JP B5n comapre with fuel comsuption in the same area/driving style against the Toronero. http://www.jpracing.com/en/products/fx-engines/Eagle_21_B-5.php [image]http://www.jpracing.com/img/products/fx/moteurs/micro-moteur/Eagle_21_B-5.jpg[/image] What's the special thing with the red stuff? RE: Oh Boy! What on Earth is this Ofna 1/8 Buggy?
No offense, but if that is the old Ofna Ultra model, is JUNK! Back days when the MP-5 was new in the market and I had it, my friends had these Ultra's and always the parts were breaking, the metal pieces are jsut crapp, they wear out so fast! That car is OK for bashing or palyin garround of corse, nothing else.

What are the main difference between carbon and ergal shoes? Wich is more reliable and las longer? Pros/Cons? What is best, 3 puck, 4 puck or even 5 puck style (shoes) ? Pros/Cons of each? Anyone ever tried the Fioroni 3, 4 or even the Penta clutch? The 3 shoes model is adjutable, but not sure if with all thi fancy adjustable thing rather than changing the springs, coudl fail faster or is less reliable? Thanks guys! Seems I will have to check locally for this pipe then, and TommyGun32 it's right, I will need a full container to bring that stuff over here wich is pretty damn expensive! I'm going to cehck with some fisher companies and farm companies to see if they carry any type of 4" flex pipe that could work. Already hard to find, but not impossible. We shall see what it ends.

RE: Where to get corrugated tube for track?
I called some companies locally that could carry this kind of tube, even distributors, but all I can get is 3" and we need 4" actually. The only one that could have perhaps id the telephone company, but it must be impossible to get that thing from them, therefore, trying to locate a suppplier in the U.S. an dimport it if it's necesary.

Turbo plug or non Turbo plug?
Back in the old days when the turbo plug was recently launched in the market in 98-99 if I remember correctly was the ultimate performance for certain engines, however these engine that came with turbo plugs, known as engines for racing and not just regular practice, gave some little headaches tuning them and they weren't that reliable as STD plugs at least for me. Todays I see the turbo plug arrived in the Buggy scene and is offered by O.S. engines as well. I would like to know what are the CONS and PROS of the Turbo Plug vs a non Turbo Plug since some engines does offer this option before buying it. Thanks
