RE: **Wren Turbines USA Open house**
Sadly, as some of you know, Scott Reed (SKYPILOT on RCU) has not made it back from the Open House. It appears he hit a dear on the way back to the Airport and is pretty banged up. He is still in intesinve care in IN with a damaged Lung, broken bones etc. Not trying to rain on the Great thread, just an FYI for those of you that got to meet him there. Turbulence

RE: Loss in Tucson
For those of you not familiar with Ryan, He flew almost everything although mostly electric. If you ever seen the EJF.COM website, he is the one with the sport jet on the pictures. ( I think his picture is on the box too). Sponsored by EJF and real good with the ticks. Turbulence

RE: Tucson Jet Rally in March is Canceled
Not that this is more important than what is going on right now, but If I can help with the Tucson Jet Rally and get it going, I will, but all in good time. The last thing they want to talk about is a Jet Rally. Ryan did love to fly! We always joked that Clay couldn't keep up with charging the batteries as fast as Rayn wanted to drain them. Turbulence

RE: Airtronics Cumic -- Need building advice-- Alerons or not?
If you flew power with ailerons, then I would build it flat with ailerons on the outer panels and flaps on the inner panels. I would not use ailerons as flaps, you could tip stall and be too low to the ground to recover. When you set up the aileron throws, you'll want more up than down. ( differential) Also use rudder mixing with the ailerons to help make coordinated turns. I wish you a speedy recovery from your surgery and good luck on your new bird. Charlie

Does four months or less give you enough time?
