Still no luck? It's working fine for me too. Try typing in the address instead of clicking on a bookmark, if that doesn't help then google Bob's web address and then click on the link from there. Ralph

IAN, Apparently the Owner remodeling and building without permits etc etc etc. Check out the previous postings where the track and other facilities got in trouble but they would allow RC Flyers to continue. RE: YET, another J-10
He sent me the price sheet too, $4600, but that's with wheels, brakes, struts, tanks, pipe etc. PLus a 20% discounts for orders this month. I have all his foam planes, and dealt with him for years, but this is just too big and I am not that much into the Turbine world as much as I used to. Ralph

RE: Has the extreme Heat stopped your flying
Stan, I've been doing the opposite, get my stuff ready, show up at the field on Sunday's about 4:30-5 and fly until at least 7:30. From Sahauarita/Green Valley, it takes about an hour to get to Timpa, so I make sure all the batteries are charged and I have spares before I head out. I've done as much as 15 flights on the Electric Jets on Sunday's, field is empty because everyone flew early in the morning. Unless it's blowing past 20 MPH, I'm still flying. Ralph
ORIGINAL: tucson A few of us leave our houses at 5:30-6 AM. Drive about an hour. Get several flights in by 10:30, pack up and drive the hour back home. Get home around 12 PM. A lot of work but worth it for me. We have no choice if you want to fly in this heat. Stan
RE: NEED 1/8th F-16 Missile Rails
Thanks FalconWings, I made four (two sets) in 20 minutes. I don't know how much more detail I will add, but I was reading Henry's thread for his new 1/8th F-16 (Modellbau USA) and couple of people commented how much better the plane flies with the Rails on. Could have gone with 1/2 balsa sticks, and I made them about 13' Long since someone commented that's the length of the ones in the Jet Legend 1/8 F-16. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_11107785/tm.htm Ralph
ORIGINAL: FalconWings No way! No one should ever pay for sidewinder rails. Take two 3/8 x 3/8 x 12 balsa blocks. Cut one about 3'' shorter than the other one and cut the tip at a 45 degree angle. This is the inboard edge. Now just glue them side by side with the trailing edges flush. Take 220 grit sandpaper and shape the tip to give it a radius facing outboard, and then blend the top and bottom sides at the trailing edge. Finally, primer then paint. Takes 20 minutes to make them and 2 hours to finish. My dimensions are approximates, but you get the point. David
RE: The New Modellbau USA F-16
Mike, Like I said, I ment no offense, so what you are looking for is more like a StarMax F-16, but add the speed brake, Maybe like a Hot Spot style brake on the top. You forgot to ask for Thrust Vectoring :0 Ralph
ORIGINAL: BaldEagel Forgive me if I am wrong chaps, but this is not some high faluting high scale model, but a semi scale sports model for all to fly, I just thought making it appeal to a wider audience would improve its appeal. I mean no offense here BaldEagel , BUT You are talking about an F-16 right???????? Ralph
ORIGINAL: BaldEagel if the flaps and ailerons had sufficient movement to be used as crow braking that would add its appeal to the UK market, well certainly to me anyway. with say a top of the fus airbrake????? Pete, First thing I would also do is throw away that connector you have on the bottom of the picture. I know many have probably used them, but I have one that broke on a plane and glad it was not during flight. Ralph
