Countryboy, If to be more exact - 8658$. But this price includes completely the ready plane (assembled)! If you want, in addition we can establish electronics. You only need to establish turbines... Alex

RE: UKR-JET pipe recieved
ORIGINAL: Gordon Mc 'scuse the ignorance here, but I'm a bit confused. You say there are no spot welds on the inner pipe - so what are the spots in this pic ? Note - this isn't an attempt at being sarcastic - I'm genuinely a bit befuddled. I though these pipes were to have no spot welds and all be just laser welding, but form the pic's I see a bunch of pop rivets plus what seems to be spot welding. Could you clarify ? Thanks, Gordon
I can explain to you! At first we have welded Pipes - laser welding after that we have in addition welded "points". You ask why there is a welding by "point"? I give the explanatory: to us has sent the Pipes Andy, we have made tests with this Pipes and we have found out some errors! 1. A design error (have not correctly made a design). 2. We have made calculation of this pipes, we have come to opinion that this tube is calculated on turbine MAX application - 90-120N. And Andy, uses the turbine with pressure 160N. This Pipes very narrow for such turbine - (rear Pipes very narrow 76 mm 2.99"). The minimum diameter of a tube should be - 85mm 3.34"! But how I could not increase exhaust outlet Pipes, I have decided to make "secure by spot welding". If to tell easier, I should not leave from the sizes Pipes which to me have sent Andy, I have been limited in the project of this Pipes! Therefore, I can give 100 % guarantee Andy that it Pipes will not be damaged and there will be no rupture! Laser welding + welding by a point - and we have very strong tube, especially for wet starts! The additional information on Pipes Andy, Pipes which uses Andy it is very strongly loaded by pressure in rear Pipes... As I wrote above, an exhaust outlet too small, and the temperature reaches 490 degrees (932F). I think that additional points on a tube should not confuse my users. But it is better to have a stock on strength! And it will give 100 % confidence of reliability Pipes! Though we can not do welding by a point, there is enough only a laser seam. Forgive for my English.... If you need to make a new explanation, please contact with Marc Scully, I think it can describe our tests in detail![8|]

RE: UKR-JET pipe recieved
ORIGINAL: AndyAndrews After first run (full tank) the pipe looks excellent. Not a single warp or blemish. I will keep an eye on it and post pics after the next flight.
Andy, Thanks for mail! To yours Pipes will occur nothing! Internal circuit Pipes is made of a special steel. I will a little tell as do this steel. After manufacturing of sheet SS (industrially), this sheet press (a press, very strong pressure)! After such processing sheet SS turns out very strong and elastic (it is very similar to a spring). We did many tests, heated up ours pipes to temperature of 700 degrees (1292F)!!! [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]And we did not see any deformation... Andy, Continue us to inform on your flights. Thanks![sm=wink_smile.gif]

Now such metal is not present anywhere... We have bought this material from old stocks USSR!!![:)] The metal specification: After manufacturing of such metal (factory the manufacturer), presses it, and metal gets the big rigidity. Metal is similar to an elastic steel (as a spring)! To this metal 22 years... Friends, ask any questions, we will give you answers![8D]
