RE: 4 in 1 receivers?
Good point, The reason I mention the big lama 3&1, is that it has larger 380 motor sized mosfets for the output, and is less expensive than the eflite ones, but as you point out, both would work fine :)

RE: 4 in 1 receivers?
You could use the Big out door lama 3&1, which is designed for 2 main motors. then use just a standard rx (your choice of channels)

RE: ........... BELT CP V2 Thread..........
Perhaps that could be. I hd not heard of that problem till just this last friday, maybe there is a new batch that has that issue? I will check to see if the aftermarket bearing are smaller/larger than the stock. by spec they should be the same

RE: ........... BELT CP V2 Thread..........
The recommended fix for the loose bearing is to use some red locktight between the bearing outer wall and the center metal hub of the gear. Let dry overnight. Be careful not to get ANY locktite in the bearing itself.

RE: Honeybee King v2 tuner shop
ORIGINAL: highway_n15 Hello overyone, I have an upgraded HBK2 that I have been flying around the backyard for a while now.  It's specs include Xtreme 400x motor w/10t pinion, 43t pulley,  10t tail, Dynam 30a ESC, Xtreme frame stiffener and battery tray, Extreme main blades, Xtreme turnbuckles. I have been having some trouble getting my blades to track perfectly.  I have it right now so that (on a turn table) as they wind up, the tracking is on.  At about mid stick there is between 1/8-1/4 of an inch of deviation and at a higher angle of attack the tracking goes back to being good.  In flight the blades do have a deviated tracking.  I have checked my main and feathering shafts for bends and I have made sure that all of my screws are tight.  Is this tracking deviation due to the slop in the plastic head parts?  The new turnbuckles helped but I cant fix the problem. Any Ideas?
I would look for other parts in the head that are wearing out. Ball ends, bearings, connectors, orings, etc.... Slop defincately can cause your tracking to be out of wack.

RE: My Trex 600 E will only fly for 30 secs.
I think the 85 degrees referenced Centigrade, not Fahrenheit. 85c would be close to 200 degrees F (off the top of my head). Does it get too hot to touch or hold for 3 seconds?

RE: My Trex 600 E will only fly for 30 secs.
well, one thing is all batteries could have been abused and are not putting out the power anymore. Its possible, but as you mentioned, probably unlikely. Did you query the seller to see if they had this issue? As the 6s batteries are quite expensive, its a hard pill to swallow if you have to get another battery. I get about 6-8 minutes on my trex600, with a 6s5000mah. Maybe there is excessive drag in the driveline? Maybe the esc is overheating and cutting out? How hot is the esc when the 30seconds are done?

RE: DX-7 Radio and servos...
They will fit the trex450, but nothing bigger would be advisable. They are much to small to even fit in the 600 servo holes.

I have used my 2.4ghz spectrum tx and a 4ch rx, with an external 3&1, works pretty good, but as Disney points out, its not a cheap option.

RE: ........... BELT CP V2 Thread..........
Joey, I agree, the HDX450 head rocks on the beltcp. We have more and more parts for that head and tail combo on the way, by popular demand :) The tail blades spin towards the front of the heli, up into the main rotor wash. Looking at them front on, its counter clockwise M

RE: Can I use my Blade 400 motor on my 450 sa?
yes you can. I would try the pinion that came on the b400 for starters. Then move up or down depending on the headspeed and your personal taste.

RE: Belt CP to Trex 600 ??
I have both, love both. The 600 is an awesome machine, huge and intimidating. I fear wrecking it though, it is so much more pricey than the beltcp. I guess I'm used to the beltcp and can fly it better. I guess I'm more relaxed on it and not so fearfull of the huge repair bill if I drill the 600 into the ground. As mentioned, The HS65MG will NOT fit in the 600, you need standard size servo's which are much larger. And for good ones, much more $$. But thats always the case. If you get a 600, you will not regret it for sure :)

RE: Motor King 2 stopped spinning
Yes, the stock motors on the king 2's have a bad reputation for dying. Almost all owners go to brushless at some point. You can get other brushed motors that will work, which is cheaper than converting to brush-less

RE: Esky Belt CP v2 2.5ghz
A FP heli is Fixed Pitch. The blades do not alter their angle of attack and are fixed at one pitch. You gain altittude by changing motor speed. A CP heli is Collective Pitch. The blades have the ability to change pitch, thus altering the amount of lift for any given motor speed. M

RE: Esky Belt CP v2 2.5ghz
Most collective pitch helis are a little too much for the virgin beginner, but lots of folks do it and do it well. I started on the fp, i would not change that if i could. If your budget supports it and spares, then go for it. Spares: Blades (look into plastic blades, they will save the beginner lots of $$) feathering shafts flybars EK1-0518 - flybar case set some shafts maybe a tail boom tail blades I would also get the 5.5 mm nut drivers, otherwise changing the feathering shaft is very much a pain in the A** M
