RE: Is this a SCAM ???????
This is a scam that has been going on for awhile. You will receive a checkusually for about 2,700 to pay you. They ask you to cash the check and send the overpayment to them. The check they use is actually a valid account but, not theirs and if you deposit it , the check will bounce and cost you bank fees.

RE: ESM P51b Engine Help
Personally I would switch to a gas engine. You will spend less than $4.00 per gallon and it has agreat sound. Now as to wich engine and we sell DLE,DLA,PTE and JC EVO. The PTE is a rear exhaust engine 36CC so it can fit in very tight cowls.

RE: Exhaust staining on ESM planes
Exhaust fume staining can be removed with paper towel and alcohol.Think about real life. Look at real warbirds the exhaust pipes always created discoloration and sootie film on the planes. Many scale builders try to duplicate this with paint. Why bother. On my ESM planes I do not remove the exhaust residu from the gas engines. As a matter of fact I leave the lite mud spatter from the wheels

RE: yo yo effect
Has anyone finally established the proper CG for the ESM P47?
ORIGINAL: scale only 4 me
ORIGINAL: hyflyer9 my manual say's CG is 136mm or 5 5/16 from leading edge at center of the wing. this yo yo effect happens just after take off but as the plane gains speed it even's out but still the elevator is very sensitive. I should say here that my P47 is the ESM Frank Tiano Signature series the one seen on the link provided [link]http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/ESMP47-71-C.html[/link] hyflyer9.
I see tha't what the manual says, but That CG doesn't sound right to me, I have the Ziroli 70" P47 and the CG is at 4",, 5 5/16 sound very aft to me good luck
RE: which muffler is the best for DLE 55?
Good day, We are dealers for both this plane and engine. On my FW190 I am using a Bisson Muffler. Now if you realy want to get scale, come off of the engine muffler and run the exhaust through the actual exhaust stacks of the plane. To do this the first step will be to create exhaust pipes made out of metal to replace the plastic supplied in the arf.

RE: DLA 32 Throttle Return Spring Question.....>>>
DO NOT REMOVE THE SPRING. The spring is also the spacer that keeps the throttle flap in proper alignment. Just unhook the spring.

The price of the kits is decided by the USA distributor. The cost of shipping has nothing to do with the distributor. 2 seperate items

Please understand that it is not the distributor or the dealer who has increased the shipping price. The USPS,FEDEX and UPS have all raised the shipping rates.

The ESM prices were increased as of the 9th of March. Price increases on the 70" planes went up $50.00 and on some of the larger planes increases were in the $100.00 range. The Giant scale FW190D9 actually went down $50.00
