RE: VRC Pro offroad
Good news! The off-road expansion release is now officially scheduled for Friday (10-08-2012). The developers have succeeded in tackling the last few bugs and issues. Yes, we are finally ready. There is a lot of excitement among the beta testers about the short course car performance and realism as well as all the other new features. It’s time to enter the era of VRC Pro off-road racing

RE: VRC Pro offroad
We have a special (very cheap) 1-year Lite license for people who don't want to commit to a subscription. The lite license gives you a basic set of tracks and spec cars. Additional content can be purchased if you like. The only limitations of the Lite license are that you cannot earn any vEuros, and you don't have the same free/discounted content as full members. The rest is exactly the same as a full membership, you can do multiplayer, practice, time trials, events, etc. [quote]ORIGINAL: TheDriftingNarwhal I tried it a while ago, but never got around to downloading it as I don't play online and don't want to have to pay a membership... do you guys plan on selling a standalone offline full version? RE: VRC Pro offroad
By the way, Short Course trucks will be added as a new class to the regular VRC Pro software, so no additional software is required. All you need is a valid VRC Pro membership. We will also include a free spec car for trial users and Lite members. VRC Pro offroad
: will there be off-road in VRC Pro? Yes, VRC Pro goes off-road, delivering on an old promise. The first class to feature in VRC Pro will be the immensely popular electric powered 1:10 scale 4WD Short Course Truck.... With this class VRC Pro caters for the typical basher as well as the typical racer. A wide range... course trucks will be introduced early July, so look out for it. More info can be found on the VRC

Serpent international team ace Marc Fischer will share important setup information to optimize the chances of the R2tW winner to do well at the 2012 Worlds. LRP, the electronics powerhouse from Germany, will provide full electronics support and with hot favorite Ronald Völker in their team, Reto König and Andy Kraemer will be able to power the S-411 R2tW car with the same world championship winning technology as Ronald will receive! With these two companies on board we are confident that the R2tW winner will get all the support needed to perform on world championship level at the Heemstede track. After 3 months of virtual racing on that track he should be able to adapt very quickly and be on pace immediately. For more information check out the R2tW website at: http://www.race2theworlds.com

RE: Race 2 the Worlds 2012
Offroad development is going surprizingly well. We are working towards beta test a.t.m. Unfortunately company policy does not allow me to speculate about the release date, however I can assure you that it WON'T be long and it WILL be awesome. Personally, I have never driven a real offroad car before in my life, but it's a lot of fun driving these things in our test environment. Unfortunately I am not allowed to share any in-game video materials, images or any info on the offroad classes we'll be releasing. It's a shame, because it's loads of fun already... and again, development progress far exceeds our expectations given the sheer complexity of physics factors involved in Offroad. As soon as I'm allowed to share promotional materials or release dates, rest assured I will! I hope you understand that we don't want to repeat our past mistake of promising deadlines we didn't meet.

Comparison study LRP TCM 2012 and VRC Pro Worlds Ronald Volker
We have compared Ronald Volker's laps at the LRP TCM 2012 with his laps at the LRP track in VRC Pro, the outcome was surprizing! On the 2012 LRP TCM track, Ronald qualified about a lap faster than at the VRC Pro virtual Worlds 2011: 24 laps in 5:06.056 vs 23 laps om 5:09.810. That's 0.68... are a lot easier this year (the VRC Pro track was modelled last year) and that's where this time
