RE: Redcat Rampage MT5
I can't wait to get mine in June! My friends have 5B's (one guy is into his for $3500) and they are all asking me about the truck... Anyone know where to find some tuning information for this type of engine? I've never had a Gasoline powered RC before...heck, even my weed wacker is electric! ie. break in procedure, how to start it, how to mix the fuel etc. Thanks Rob

RE: New 1/8 scale Ultralites
I think they look great and shoud be very popular. Let's be honest, how many people are really racing their redcat's? Bashing is where it is at (at least with my customers) and these are going to be a blast to kick the you know what out of. The Maelstrom body looks nice...I'll be putting one on my Monsoon along with that new black wing. My only problem is deciding what to run next...my Tsunami seems to almost cry every time I take it out...little truck...big skate park, my Hurricane has some spanky new aluminum wheels that have yet to be used and oh, that 1/5th gasser should be here soon too! I think my wife is going to leave me if you keep introducing all of these new cars Darin! PS, I had to look it up...A maelstrom (or malström/malstrøm in the scandinavian languages) is a very powerful whirlpool; a large, swirling body of water. Nice!

RE: Hint's Tip's and How to's On Redcats
I'm building a Monsoon for Racing too. Currently stock but installing a Nomadio React Radio/Transceiver and a couple of Carbon Fibre items from Redcat in the next couple of weeks. What servos do you guys recommend? I'm looking for something bullet proof/fast/strong. I don't mind paying $$$ for good servos if I have to but don't want to get too carried away. Maybe you can tell me what the ultimate steering servo is and the best bang for the buck servo. Porting and Polishing is over my head so that's not going to happen any time soon. Would a different pipe really make that much of a difference on a stock .28? Thanks for your help guys.

RE: **NEW BEST BASHING VIDEO CONTEST**
Hey TNIGS...I've got a Monsoon sitting here with your name on it...like a puppy in the pet store window...it's crying pick me, pick me!!! Oh, and these Avalanches are lookin' kinda bored sitting on the shelf too. Regarding the rain, my family lived in Lake Cowichan for a few years...I don't think it stopped raining the entire time. I say stick your servos/receiver inside a balloon and go make a kick butt vid with your Tornado. Besides, when you win, I'm going to give you 40 bucks worth of parts...that'd get your a couple of servos, a receiver and some suspension parts. Make us BC boys proud buddy!

I'd be happy to ship a car to you from BC. I think you'd be impressed with the Redcat cars. I'm an old school RC guy myself and purchased my first Redcat Volcano SV site unseen from the web. Compared to my old Tamiya trucks, they are an incredible value. Rob Email: westcoasthobbies@shaw.ca

RE: Redcat Canada
Thanks ehroof. No, no web site yet. I will have one in a few months (time permitting). I'm creating one myself to begin with. Back down to the garage...I'm doing a PDI on a Hurricane and then an Avalanche for delivery tonight. Yes, that's right, I inspect each car before delivery to ensure all is well. It takes a little extra time but ensures that my customers are happy with what they receive. Rob
