RE: Exhaust header
Hey, thanks a lot!! I was hoping it wouldn't be a terriblly involved process. Looks like I'll be going to home depot this weekend to crank it out. The picture really helped a ton. Thanks again!! [:D]

Exhaust header
Anyone know how hard it is to make a homemade exhaust header? I have an older Dumas Scarab S with a 22cc McCulloch and the bolt pattern on the exhaust port in kinda different, it's offset. One bolt is bolted to the upper left of the port and the other is bolted to the lower right of the port. Any suggestions?

RE: 22cc McCulloch help (gas)
Thanks for your input!. I'm most likely gonna get the 167 and cross my fingers that it is a direct bolt on. Does anyone know if manufacturers change the bolt pattern when they create a new carb/engine? Or, is it safe to say that a carb is a carb [for the common gas R/C boating application] and can be mounted on pretty much any small 2-cycle engine?

22cc McCulloch help (gas)
I'm attempting to resurrect my old Dumas Scarab that has a 12 yr old 22cc McCuloch engine. The engine is in very good shape, as it hasn't been seen on the water for 7 years, but I'm looking to upgrade the carb to a larger, high flowing unit. I've heard a Walbro WA167A would be a good upgrade over stock. Does anyone know if this is true and/or where to purchase one or get a similar product that'll work for my application? Additionally, I need an exhaust header (tuned pipe adapter) for the same engine. Any ideas? A water inlet on the exhaust header would be ideal... Thanks!
