RE: The Boomer by Bill Vargas
Hi Guys, I hear some of you guys have had trouble getting your order filled from Don Stegall, 18 months ago I ordered a Q500 off him sent the money over to him & all I got was excuses / promises about 9 months went past so I asked him for my money back. He had my money all that time. My freind in Australia also had the same trouble with him, he also demanded his money back. I would never deal with this person ever again. He made me promises that he knew he would not keep. He should not advertise if he cant make up the orders to every body.

RE: Q500 Wing
Hi Guys, yep I do usally glass the centre section of the wing, when I cover the wing with Iron on covering. But as normal glass the complete wing if I am Painting the wing. I just thought as there is alot of strenght inside the cores, I didn't think about the crushing of the wing when bolted down to the fuse. Yes so I do need to glass the centre section for this purpose. Thanks for the replys.

Help
Hi Guys, could any body tell me the CG for the Direct Connection F20 Tiger Shark which I know a no longer in bussness. It has nose & main retracts in it. I had flown it years ago. now I thought I would dust of the cobwebbs & fly it again, but I took out the receiver & battery pack when I stored it away now I cant remember where the battery pack went to get the CG right. I also have one of Direct Connection F18 Hornet kit in which is still sitting in the closet, but I probably will never build, as I haven't got the time. I know tower hobbies sell the Phoenix F20 Tiger Shark, but I dont know whether the CG would be the same, the plane looks abit different to me. The Phoenix F20 CG is 150mm from the leading edge, but I tryed that but way to nose heavey even with the battery sitting on the art end of the fuse. So could any one help me here Thanks.

RE: Covering
Hey Guys tryed to purchase a couple of rolls of Ultracoat through Horizon Hobbies, but as I thought they will not send to me. They said that I had to go through my local model shop. But that's a joke because they wont order just two rolls they wait untill they have a huge orders so that its worth there while, & they can charge each modeller huge bucks also we have to wait months before even receiving the goods. 0nce the item gets here it would cost just to much by the time the model shops put there percentage onto. I can remember a few years ago dealing with Horizon Hobbies with no trouble at all , but these hobbies shops have got on to them, & probably done a deal with them so as not to sell tpo the public directly. End the end I have gone to tower hobbies but as they dont stock Ultracoat I had to buy Monokote, but hey its on its way to me already only ordered yesterday. Shame on you Horizon Hobbies.

RE: tt 40 problems with mufflers
I beleive the 0S AX 46 has the edge over the TT46 the TT have a different timing to the 0S & they like to rev, the 0S will unwind in the air with a bigger prop than the TT. But at the end of the day I suppose its really up to the person flying. Got to fly a tight course.

RE: tt 40 problems with mufflers
Most of us over here use the 0S AX 46 Engine & they go faster with the baffle out, the guys that use the TT46 leave there baffles in cause they go faster. With the baffles out they seem to go slower in the TT46.

RE: tt 40 problems with mufflers
Hi Guys, Yep once they are welded it will solve all your leaker problems & the engine willl perform 100% better. You can use a number of things to check whether or not there is a baffle in it or not. Here in New Zealand our rules let us remove the baffle, but I was told that the TT engines go better with the baffle in.
