I guess its just me, but I like this plane a little tail heavy. It realy helps to flatten out the spins and it makes hovering easier for me. The only problem that I had with this plane snapping out was because I had the horizantal stab ouy of line do to my own screw up. I have since fixed this and it does not snap. This is one of my best planes. I just hope my new Wildhare Edge flies half as well.

I have also tried the 16x4w on the 100 with this plane and have to agree about the feal. I too decided on the apc 15x6.

I have my servos in the tail with a saito 100 and I was slightly nose heavy with the battery on the motor box... I am still shifting the CG back, battery is now ontop of the gear mount.

I got my edge today, one day early. Great packing job , the box was marred all over the place, but the contents seem intact at first look. Any body ever ran a moki 180 inverted?

I meant control horns, not clevis......I did not use the clevises that came with the kit either though.

I threw out all the hardware that came with the edge. The clevises will bend under preasure. I used du-bro for mine. I used a 5625 on my rudder.

I ordered my edge today. Im not sure how long it will take to get to VA. I still have to deside on the engine...I'm torn between the Moki 180 which I can get used from a guy in my club for a real good price or a new Os 160. Any thoghts on this would realy help. I also need some advice on servos. I have the 9001's and 9402's that I took out of my 1/4 scale cap, or should I go with some thing faster with more torq?

I have the 100 in mine and I think it is perfect.I am still playing with the prop and i cant make up my mind on which one I like more the apc 15 x 6 or the apc 16 x 4 w. the are both good on this plane.

My battery is also on the fire wall. I have 3 servos in the tail though and the CG came out at the aft recomended setting. I will shift bat in to the plane beside the tank this weekend and go from there. I am having problems getting my video onto the computer, I think I need a new USB cable because my camera will not up load. I do love this plane though, Hover did not lock in for more than a few seconds but that will be fixed with the correct CG. As I am just learning to 3D this plane makes it easy, All attempts at the pattern were crisp and looked very elegant. Did I say how much I loved this plane...Verticle was unlimited at 3/4 throttle and very low speed flight was extremely stable. This is a nice change from my extrz and big cap.

Great first flight, or should I say first 2 flights. The fire wall came loose on the second flight but no other damage.All I can say is that I have a new favorite plane. This thing truly flies bigger than it is. it took every thing I could throw at it. The only small complaint that I had was I could not get my flat spins real flat. It might be the CG or my control throws I will see tomorow, and hopefuly have video soon.

Yeah Im dyin here...............14 more hours. I hope to get video too. The man says great wheather for 2 days straight. I think I need more fuel, I only have 2 gallons and 3 planes for 2 days will eat that up quick. My 150 saito on my CAP drinks fuel like milk.

Still no flight report, the weather man didn't lie today, it was 25 to 30 mph winds. I also hit the canopy with my heat gun while taking out wrinkles. I hope my LHS can get the new one by this weekend. By the way, do not try and fix a melted canopy with the heat gun that you wrecked it with in the first place.........live and learn. It was no wear near as bad befor I tried to fix it.

The rudder is a pull pull and I used a servo for each side on the elevator.

Yes it is the 100. I threw out the stock tank and put in a 14 oz du-bro. I had to cut one of the hatch formers so that it would clear. The servos are digitals and I reversed them in the radio.

Has any one had one of these in the air yet?....I just checked the weather for tomorow and they are saying 25 to 30mph winds. I cant stand weather men. That probably means 75 deg sunny and 0 wind.........I guess I will flip a coin to see wether or not I want to load up the planes and drive 45 min to the field.
