RE: 1/12th Scale Edf Concorde
Sam, Thanks for the reply, I saw the photos on post 68-70 but could not tell the process. Your explanation makes it more clear. I have been wanting to make sheets to use over foam cores and some open structures instead of buying G-10 or flight skin type sheets. Much cheaper and can get larger sizes also. Thanks again for your help. Gary

RE: 1/12th Scale Edf Concorde
Props4ever, Great thread. I have been reading since the start. I am interested in your plans to skin the open structure with pre-cured fiberglass sheets. Have you found a glue to put it on with yet? Can you describe in more detail how you are making the 4x8 sheets of fiberglass wing skin. I have been wanting to learn how to produce pre-cured fiberglass sheets similar to yours that can be used for skinning open structures or over foam. I understand you are using 2 layers of 2oz glass. What are you laying it up on? Are you laying the weave on a 45 degree bias or just parallel weaves? Are you vac bagging it or using weights? Could you post much detail as possible and photos if you can of how you do it. Thanks for more info Gary

P-160 Titan Fuel Leak
Need help to find fuel leak. There is fuel dripping from bottom of my P-160 Titan after each shutdown. It seems to be dripping from where the purple cowl meets the engine case. Any ideas on what to check. Turbine runs great, starts great with kero starts, but drips fuel on each shutdown. I can not see any leaks during running. Any ideas on what to check and how? Thanks Gary Jones

RE: Use of Eneloop Batteries for Kero Start ECU
Thanks for all the replies, I've been using 7 cell regular NiMh packs with success but did not know much about Eneloop cells. My JetCat ECUs are the old type and have not been upgraded to use 123 cell voltage yet. I use all 123s on flight packs. I need to upgrade the ECUs to use them also. Sounds like Eneloops will hold a charge well but would not be the best for the high current demands of multiple kero starts. Thanks Gary

RE: World Models 42% Ultimate Biplane
Greg, Congrats on getting the big Ultimate flying! As you can see it is very easy to fly, presents well, and is a crowd pleaser. The CG range is large and very tolerant of changes. When you start to get aft you will feel some pitch oscilations mostly at lower speed like on final but nothing uncontrollable. I love mine and will keep on flying it even though it is so big it can beat you to death with transport and assembly...it is just too much fun to give up. What was your final flying weight? Keep us posted on your progress. Gary
