RE: Can anyone NOT bash the walkera 60???
The designed is flawed, cause of the materials used on the frame. It does not react well when crashed. EVerything bends outta shape, and snaps with time. If you do manage to get it flying and everything is aligned properly...its SUPER STABLE. W37

OK.. Should I build a hybrid? Absolutly. Hybrids offers more expansion than conventionals. Many more options too without hitting the pocket. Here is example of my 450 hybrid. This unit flies better than an original 450XL. It's lighter and the body is stronger.

RE: WALKERA 37
OK.. Which is the best battery? This is the question of the new year. Everyone has many opinions. No one has a definte answer, cause many batteries are used in different ways. But, if you are a casual flyer, maybe doing some 3D, barrel rolls, 360 loops, not pushing it at all I recommend FLIGHT POWER EVO 2500Mah 11.1V Lipo. Along with the ULtra Balancer (blinky clone but better) if your not using a balance charger. This battery does not puff up and has an excellent warrantee. EVEN WITH CRASHES! Don't waste money on anything else. And remember to use caution when handling LIPOS. Do not over discharge and do not over charge. Flight time on the Walkera DF60 = 18 minutes. DF37=17 minutes. Df36=16.5 minutes.. All normall fly mode, Idle 0.

RE: WALKERA 37
I'm back too. And good news... have tons of walkera parts! going to open a on small online store. W 37
ORIGINAL: babyhuey Sorry guys, I thought that this thread had died. Did you try reversing your gyro? It sounds like that might be the problem. If you have control of the Helis direction (forward-back, left-right) then those servos are hooked up correctly. Channel three is the esc, four is always rudder, five is the gear channel, six is the pitch, and seven is gyro adjust if you have that feature. Check that your tail blades are rotating in the correct direction and that they are installed correctly. It is hard to belive how often that Walkera screws that up! I'll check back to see if you have more questions. Huey
RE: WALKERA 37
It's V1 in that mode. But V1 with DIP#11 on, is not the throttle curve. it's the Exponential. V2 is the throttle curve
ORIGINAL: Rody Your the man dude,, thanks again. I have got the amount of travel in the swash correct. I am using longer blades 325mm. So from what im reading I need to adjust the V1 throttle curve way down to make it less agressive? Im pretty sure everything else I have correct. I get a little tail searching. I tryed increasing gyro made it worse so I need to lower gyro sens I think . I might try play around with dipsw 12 see how i go. To robin b.... I lowered the 37 shaft lower into the bearing and cut notch's aswell.
RE: WALKERA 37
No, you dont cut the shaft. If you purchased the kit, you already get a shorter shaft. What you have to do create a notch at the bottom. Just like the original DF37 shaft. If you use anything, else, then you have to cut.. and cutting is a bad idea. If not done proper, you get vibrations.
