I have enjoyed following this thread and I have set up my lathe and made three threaded heads. I have two questions. Are you using the copper gasket under the glow plug? Does any one know of an inexpensive sorce for the copper head gasket (spacer) Walt

Cutting Boards
Eric: This will get me in trouble but doors are great to work on and glass is great to cut on, don't mix the two, they are just tools to use to build on. They're just jigs used to build on. Walt

Wood.
Just a comment: I use Lone Star and never had a problem. However I don't order sticks. I simply buy quality sheets and strip sticks up to 1/8" and band saw from there up. Never a problem. Walt

Question about CG
Don I've never played with wings before and basically it's strickly TLAR. Didn't have slope in mind, I'm to old to climb hills. As for combat, I think it would survive. What I have in mind is a high start launch. Ollie and Jerry are giving me an engineering course, and actually I understand most of what they're talking about. Just not sure how to apply it:D Walt

Pedal Launcher
I don't know anything about a pedal launcher. I assume it's a release device. My field really doesn't surpport a Hi-Start. I use a small engine on a power pod which is a lot less gear to take to the flying field. The added weight simply acts as ballest. I'm sorry but I can't see any advantage to using a pedal launcher. :)Walt:)
