How is this one for "dual" charging? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLCJ6&P=ML

RE: Accu-Cycler Elite or What?
Actually I found this http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLCJ6&P=ML It says dual output and I believe 10A output so that would be 5A per battery which is my lipos max charge rate. Only question is, is it junk?

RE: Accu-Cycler Elite or What?
I'm also on a budget since I don't have my R/C yet. So I think I might buy this charger unless I can find a better "dual" charger around this price.

RE: Accu-Cycler Elite or What?
So that would take 2 1/2 hours. for both. Then shouldn't I get a single charger or not?

RE: Accu-Cycler Elite or What?
It's a 1/10. Anyway so the clamps from the wall power supply connects to the clamps of the chargers input? An yeah will it charge 2 5000mah lipos in an hour or is that way to fast for lipo? Another thing I'm considering is the Thunder AC-6 because it comes with a powersupply already and I believe it will charge each battery in an hour making the charge time a little over 2 hours before a run. I know I shouldnt run a battery over its amp rating so I should charge at 5A right? Thanks

Accu-Cycler Elite or What?
I plan on getting 2 lipos for an e-revo brushless edition and I was wondering if this is a good "dual" charger. I'f not what is recommended and how easy is it to use a regular power supply? Is it a simple plug-n-go or what? This is my first lipo setup. Thanks.

RE: Is this LiPo worth the money?
The onyx 240 is what I have for my NiMh batteries. I would like something "dual" for LiPo. The only I found was the Accu-Cycler Elite. It comes with its own power supply if i'm correct making it perfect for what I need. Only thing is that I don't know if its that great of a charger. Thats why I posted this here.

RE: Is this LiPo worth the money?
This thread has really heated up. I want to make things clear that I don't actually want the MaxAmps LiPos and more mainly because of price. I don't think they are crap in anyway although I've never owned one. I believe I will end up buying the Zippy's because after a lot of research I have mostly only found great reviews. My question now comes down to what charger. I would like to keep it in a reasonable price range. As I posted earlier I wanted to know about the Accu-Cycle elite Dual Charger. I'm very interested in this as it is a multi charging charger that has a easy programing setup. The main reason I started this thread was to learn about LiPos because an ERBE wouldn't be as great without one. I also am only used to NiMh batteries. They are simple enough to use and I've never been to concerned about safety of them because they felt bulletproof (although they are not). Basically I would throw them on a basic peak charger and wait for a light to turn green. I'm just not used to the whole charger programing experience.

RE: Is this LiPo worth the money?
So basically it's gearing that choose series or parallel? and those are the names of each type? I'm very confused. So what would happen if I had the erbe now and 6s lipo and just plugged them in charged? What would the car do. On a side not is the accucycle elite a good charger for dual charging? It has a automatic function for battery retarded people like me.

RE: Is this LiPo worth the money?
Hmm that is interesting. I never knew of such a thing. Is it like a mode or what determines how this is going to work? I'm some what experienced in driving brushless systems but all mine are 18th scale. So should i go 3s or 2s? I'm sure ide go series. Ill be running alot of sand so I need more power.

RE: Summit with a 9.6?
Nevermind. I found AXIAL beadlocks they seem to be good. I just don't know what tire to use because I want good traction but no wobble on the street. What's recommended?

RE: Summit with a 9.6?
Is that the same size as the TMAXX and Revo? Also who makes a beadlock design like the stock wheels? I just want something that is widely available because I blan on getting different tires for different terrains.

Also I figured I wouldn't make another thread so I was wondering what tires you can put on a summit wheel. I want something like the revos because my friend has a brushless to toy around with.

They don't normally base it all off first place right? Don't you get judged by speed, angels, apexs and excitement? I think its more art then race.

RE: Possible first nitro.
I think I've decided with the RS4. The website I'm looking at says 10%-15% Nitro and 16% lube. Should I still go with 20%?

Possible first nitro.
I have been looking at 2 cars (1 electric 1 nitro) and am starting to like the power the HPI RS4 gives. I am good with instructions and understood the manual so I have a few questions. I noticed a combo and I decided to see whats in it. I don't need it but I just wanted to see what it came with. Now first thing I noticed was the "threadlocker" and I'm not familiar with what this is used for. 2nd is it says it needs 12 AA batteries 8 for radio and 4 for battery box. Whats the battery box? Last thing is whats a recommend fuel for this car. They recommend a certain percentage of nitro and oils and don't know what to lean towards. I'm not a cheapo so recommend me something "good" and not cheap (unless they go together). Thanks a ton in advance, Ryan

RE: My ideal setup.
What if I went with a 4800? Would that be better? I decided against the 8 cell. This would probably still be fast huh? I'm a good drifter as I have had a stock ts4 and am into drifting. I think I could handle it.

My ideal setup.
Now I plan on drifting mostly and just cruising around everywhere. I think I want the Tamiya TT01 But was thinking brushless 5700 kv because I can't afford the 6900. Now my question is can the car handle this stock and will how will it effect drifting? BTW planning on an 8 cell if possible.
