scale retracts for CMP Zero-120
Hi all! Just got CMP Zero 120 size. I am to rebuild it as A6M3 mod.22 to use M5 type cowl, but longer wing. I need your advice about struts/retracts. I DO NEED SIDE V-joint on struts, like a real Zero. Not a rear one. Any ideas?

RE: Twin edf Airbus A320
Hi Dennis! It was the very first Idea in my mind when I so those plans to scale them up twice!!! for 120mm EDF :))) But, I think I'd better try original size first... then - time will tell....

RE: Twin edf Airbus A320
Hi Dennis! I've printed them on Laserjet using Adobe Acrobat. Not Reader. It splitted all plans to a set of A4 pages. 35 pages for fuselage plans (if I not mistaken) and so on... really nice size... I plan to use a bit longer retracts for scale look (they should move tyres into the central part of the wing... some modification needed for this, but not too much, I guess.... as for that EDF... I have no info too... but I think, it would be good idea to get only 1 set and test it on a simple foam flying wing... (it should be like a semi scale Me163 ^_^ )... and if OK, will take another one... if not - price is not too high to die for it... :) and ESC with battary could be used with Vasafan .... or another better EDF....

RE: Twin edf Airbus A320
I've just printed those plans too... rather thick pack of A4 paper :) I wanna have retracts too.. but now thinking about EDF units. VasaFan 65 are recommended on plans, but I am thinking about ... https://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7888 they say about 1 kg of thrust (37oz)... and so, 2 of this units could be good... but I am new in electro.... is it REALLY possible to get such a thrust with this unit, 40A reg and 4S1P Lipo?

Hello to all! Just founded one shop in China, with Ki-61 I have not seen before... http://www.sunnyhobby.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=459&productname= any Idea about quality? It looks like plastic model, fake photo or it's really so goodlooking?

RE: Multi engine fuel system set up
It does not matter 1 or more engines you have. Just imagine an ordinary placed tank on aerobatic plane, that flies directly up to the sky. Good aerobats has unlimited vertical perfomance, so I assume the will be no problem if you'll place your tanks right behind firewall, heading intake and pressure tubes up. Your intake will allways take fuel from bottom , unless you'll wanna do a roll ^_^ But the hight of an ordinary fuel tank ussualy smaller then it's length...

RE: Multi engine fuel system set up
Why not to place fuel tank vertically? Conny is not aerobatic plane, so if you will not try to fly her inverted... vertical tank may be more compactly placed inside

Thnks 2 all! just cheked drawings... M3 and M2 different cowling, wingtip and aileron tip... that's all, it's good.... but a bad news is that I need 2.5 meter (98 inches) wing span to cower my engine completely in cowl :( so I'll need new muffler :( to lower it at least to 2 meters....

RE: A6M2 Zero for 26cc gas pls help!
Thnks to all, but ARF Zeros are A6M5 :( while I am interested with M2 And Dave Platt Zero is a bit too big for 26cc I assume :( Of cource fuselage plans can be reduced a bit, but Hamp has different wing, closer to M5 :( Why M2? I've seen photos of some 2 coloured A6M2 and I have very usefull Japan book about it... got it from hlj.jp

RE: Twin Trainer
Boomerang1 great plane!!!!! what engines installed there? how close are RPM on outer ones? As per my twin difference for 200-300 rpm is OK. But as for 4-engines.... outer produce at least 3 times greater moment, then the inner ones. And did you any tests for one outer engine-off?

RE: Twin Trainer
It's a good idea to build twin-trainer first! I am in progress with Royal Beech Baron, but now flying a trainer built from single-engined trainer. I just made a new wing for it... Looks pretty ugly, but flies great! Powered by 2 Magnum .61 4-strokes, 1800mm wing span (70.8 inches)
