RE: Please help with 18MZ tx stick issue
Hi Krysta, Thank you as always for your quick response. I am however more than a little confused as I had stiffer stick springs in my 9Z and 14Z radios as did others here in my club that were provided to us for those txs from the Futaba service dept. there in IL. I am trying to duplicate those in my 18. :)

Please help with 18MZ tx stick issue
Since I started to fly rc in the 60s I have used slightly stiffer stick springs. In the past I have ordered from the Futaba service dept. stiffer springs for my 9Z and 14Z radios that worked great. I now have an 18Z and while I have been told they come with stiffer springs mine are not. Unfortunately I do not remember the part number of the springs Futaba has provided me in the past but I want to duplicate them. Can you please advise what part number I need to order? Thank you.

RE: GAS/GLOW HOW TO....
computermonkey- I have an adapter coming from fujiman, quick service, reasonable pricing, and best of all made in USA. I will let you know how the Mark does when I get it running.

18MZ battery charging
The charger that came with my 18MZ appears to be a 12 volt power supply with a 2.5 amp output. I assume that the charging circuit resides in the Tx or battery itself. If in the unlikely event I should need to charge the Tx battery at the field can I just apply 12 volts to the charge jack utilizing the correct plug on the back of the Tx and therefore charge the battery? Thank you.

RE: Yellow Radio South Glow Driver Battery replacement
I have replaced them before but I do not remember the size. I got them here-http://www.batteriesamerica.com/ Look through what they have and I think you will come up with it.

RE: Aero Works P-51?
ZEEB, Thanks for the link. Is the stock gear 85 or 90 degrees? I assume 90.

RE: Aero Works P-51?
I have one of these airplanes and while they fly great the retracts are another story. I know I read in this thread about a gentleman who manufactures metal gear blocks to replace the plastic ones. I have searched several times but have been unable to relocate it. Would someone please direct me to the correct post number number. Thank you.

RE: Aero Works P-51?
In checked the CG on my 51 that I built per instructions (DA 60) it is tail heavy. I think I can get it close if I put two 2200 A123's up against the firewall. In the directions it is hard to tell as the picture shown checking the CG is taken from above but it appears as though that airplane is tail heavy as well. Where have you guys been setting the CG and is there any leeway? Thanks.

RE: Dynatron starter battery pack?
I am using the same setup as you and built a 4 cell 2200 A123 pack I double stick taped to the starter. It starts my DA 85 NO problem.
