i would like to do , a guadalcanal SBD , I noticed some had some green in them , but Gray is the main color according to the osprey book , some guadal ones had a touch of green arround the front of the fuse near the L edge of the wing.

okay here we go, the osprey book i have here shows the aircraft black b1 , flown by richard best as being GRAY with all white , i think? , underbelly and wing . the question i have is what shade of gray?

it could be anything , but balsa is actually stronger than lite ply , especially the hard grade of balsa.

ive got a Q100B , AND may use it on my bates tempest , because the 3w 70 i was going to use is just too long . you have to come out from the firewall , to clear the rear muffler on the Q100 . your engine is the newer version , mine is the old split case type.
