RE: Weatronics....considering a change .is it worth the investment?
That is crazy. I don't care how technically superior the equipment is SUPPOSED to be, I want proof! I wanna see the signal strength or some way to KNOW how much margin I have in the link, not just blindly saying that my gear is the best.

RE: Weatronics....considering a change .is it worth the investment?
Bob, I fly Futaba so I am NOT bashing Futaba. But what I find inescusable is that the top brands do not give a real time indication of signal quality. Some sort of alarm to let you know that the signal being received in the aircraft is getting weaker than a set amount. Maybe the new Futaba 18 does this, but certainly not my 12FG. Weatronics allows you to see this. Were it not for the legendary crappy customer service, I'd be flying brand W.

I would think that they will offer a tray that the TX drops into for folks who fly with a tray. That way us non-tray flyers will be happy too.

Besides that, I buy EVERYTHING I can on my credit card so as to maximize my cash back dividend. I pay it off each month and get back well over $300 a year. I'd be a fool NOT to use the card!!!

Harry, you SILLY boy!!! You DO NOT need a nose wheel gyro for static display of the Delta Vortex with a pulsejet!! HA!!!

RE: Pulsejet Harry will fly again!
CHOTSKI!!!!! PJH FLIES! (well, I flew it) The Delta Vortex Chotski flew today using my old OS 61 rear exhaust pattern-plane glow engine (with pipe and an 11x6 prop). I was VERY impressed with the performance, that thing moved out far better than I would have thought with that old OS! The plane flew very well with the CG location that Harry had. Today meant qualification/verification of CG, control surface throws & rates, landing gear function, and general structural integrity. It was not without issues, however. But they will not apply to the PJ version. For instance he had the support for the tuned pipe screwed into 1/8" balsa wood which propmtly fell right out (and he tried to hide it from me, AHHHH!!!). We temporarily fixed that with CA. I was impressed. Now PJHarry needs to obtain a pulsejet engine that will actually run and integrate the propulsion system into this airframe and test run. Oh how I hope I loose this bet (but I am not at all confident that I will!!!)

I am NOT impressed. You have a long, long road ahead of you. One that you have NEVER been able to traverse, historically. Call Outback Steakhouse and tell them to get my Bloomin' Onion ready!!!! PS. Your buy-out price is not at $140, cash. I would suggest you take it. Cause one way or another, you're gonna "take it"!!!!

Jet Bill sells the Bailey's design. Ask PulseJet Harry for details. And you do indeed need a Throttle servo: for shut-down.

No word from PJH (and hence, no progress) for four days now. Sad, so sad. Your buy-out amount is now at $140. And the title of this thread "Pulsejet Harry will fly again". PJH, you need to change that. Get rid of the word "again" as you never flew in the first place!!!!!

Let's have a tiny bit more honesty here: You ran it for a second or two at a time! Just the glow fuel that the silicone fuel line would hold, no more. PATHETIC! You have appoximately 12 hours and 21 minutes left on that buy-out offer. Take it bro, take it!

RE: Pulsejet Harry will fly again!
PulseJet Harry is currently wandering in the wilderness, behind schedule and worried. I hope this does not affect his health. As a show of support to him, I shall reduce his buy-out price for a one time ONLY offer: Harry, $110.00 buys you out up until midnight Central Time tomorrow evening, July 12th. Do yourself a favor bro, take it. Cause either way, you are gonna "take it"!!!!! [;)]

I vote Chotski (as PJH and I are both pollacks or part pollack), however I believe you have that spelled wrong. Gotta get the correct spelling. I don't know how you spell it, but I think that is wrong. CHOTSKI!!!!!

Or you can just make your own, like we used to do for Isobars. Just order thin stainless sheet from McMaster-Carr (I think it was .007"). Way cheaper than buying them, and just as good!

Harry, we can easily fab some fairy, oops, I meant fairing for the front. Glad the Thais-man had no issues with his nocternal bowel movement. Next time take a Type II phaser, not a bat. Buy is still at $110.00, should you suddenly wise up!
