RE: WSN T-34 front hatch
Is it the IR version? The old WSN had a working hatch but I don't think the IR ones do.

RE: Need A Heng Long Panther G Turret
The turret rotation is in the hull of the tank. Check the transmitter as sometimes the contacts can be a bit dodgy or a wire may be loose.

RE: Credit card scam
Just been reading an article about how two IT guys who work for call a centre in India have been selling on customer details. The worst part is that some big banks use this call centre. Unfortunatly the banks don't like to report it as it makes their security look weak (which'll be bad for their share prices) and as nobody is reporting it nothing is being done about it.

RE: Few question's Noob to RC's
HengLong and WSN do 1/16 IR battle tanks. The tanks are OK but the battle system is toy like (which is why you won't see any good reviews about them.) If you just want to have some fun then they should be OK but if you want something a bit more realistic then that'll cost you. There's also a couple of 1/24 scale IR battle tanks out there but these cost more then the 1/16.

RE: Will SLU or DMD make my HL more powerful?
Only put bigger motors in if it's got the RX-18 board (little black box). If your PzIII has the older electronics in then bigger motors will burn them out pretty quickly.
ORIGINAL: pattoncommander British markings are a total ''absolute secret'' and I don't believe anyone knows the system.[:-]
Thats so the enemy don't know just how many tanks we don't have. RE: addvertisers re-directing RCU page to their sites
I've not had any problems with RCU. A while back I picked up something that kept redirecting me from a few websites and spybot didn't pick up. After some investigating I realised that everything on my screen was being run through this trojan, so when I thought I was running spybot I wasn't (just the bug running through the motions). Every time I tried to download another spyware scanner it would fail. My PC had in effect been hijacked. I had to make a list of all the processes that were running on my PC then google them on my girlfriends laptop to find out which was the hijacker. Then I could only got rid of it by going into "Safe Mode" and deleting the files manually.

RE: Tank for underhouse exploration
The M-26 Snow Leopard is one of the most reliable tanks. Nylon tracks and metal 3:1 gears (and some lead weights to aid traction) should work great.

RE: A new Heng Long T-99 Tank?
How would the guys in the U.S. feel if Heng Long was a U.S. company and all they ever built were foreign tanks? Like Hermill says these are toys and most kids wont mind if its a Chinese, UK or a US tank, as long as it's big and makes lots of noise. HL sold enough PanTigers to know that most people aren't that fussy.

RE: A new Heng Long T-99 Tank?
ORIGINAL: Panther G The likelyhood of China alone being able to support HL, is near impossible. That goes with any product vertually anywhere.  If that was so then we would have seen T-69's years ago as well as a bunch of other Russian designed China built models. Like I said, if this is just the first move in the direction of making newer more modern models, well fine. If something else modern that has been repeatedy asked for doesn't follow it soon then my point is made.
I think they may want to concentrate more on their home market for a bit while the rest of the world sorts itself out. The US dollar isnt worth as much as it was so each tank sold in the US won't be making as much profit (and the exchange rate fluctuations makes pricing thing more difficult).

RE: A new Heng Long T-99 Tank?
But if China has a growing market then there's enough people there that HL won't need to export stuff. Besides China seems to be the only country that isn't almost bankrupt.

I didn't think it looked too bad (not enough to put me off buying one). But the worlds changed since this was first announced. What with the banks refusing to increase our overdrafts so we can fund our addiction and China taking all our money through our governments instead.
