RE: Help ? - Beginner of RC Warship's
There is a Small/Fast Gun group that is in Houston under the MWC banner. In fact, MWC had their NATs in Houston this year in July at H&H Ranch. Contact information is on the [link=http://www.modelwarshipcombat.com/]www.modelwarshipcombat.com/[/link] site. Got some great guys in the club. It is, however, a far different experience than Big Gun. Good fun, but different. Good luck, Wreno

RE: help, need bismark kit!!!!!!
[link=http://www.strikemodels.com/products/]http://www.strikemodels.com/products/[/link] carries a Bismarck kit in 1/144, for RX Model Warship combat. If you are looking for one to sail or battle, this is a pretty good choice. If you are looking for one to do finescale, you will need to do some work on the stern, which was optimized for combat. RE: USS Iowa BB-61
[quote]ORIGINAL: Hydro Junkie Wreno, I'm surprised you mentioned the Erin. She was an interesting ship with a ''checkered'' history. She was built as the Reshadieh in England for the Turkish Navy and siezed in 1914 by the Royal Navy before she could be handed over to her... by the Admiralty, methinks. Cheers, Wreno

RE: USS Iowa BB-61
In looking at your handle, are you and Irish-o-phile? Have you considered the nice little HMS Erin as a ship? I know of one builg built right now. She si on the smallish and slow side, but should be VERY maneuverable. Not a simple build mut not too hard. I will eventually build one methinks. Cheers, Wreno
