RE: Experience W. Click! ?
I am building one right now. I got it from Icare-rc.com. I hope to fly it tomorrow. I am looking forward to compare it to the Shockflyer F3A and other foamies I have. The building is easy and it looks very light. I will use a AXI 2204/54 on 2S or 3S 300 or 400 and a TMM 12A controler. The 3 servos are BMS306. Xavier

RE: Shockflyer hinges
If you have trouble getting one piece of tape on the all lenght of the aileron, use 4 or 5 short pieces inline top and bottom. It's enough for the small planes like this. That's what I did on all my foamies and it will last longer than the planes will. Xavier

RE: New precision flight box for AFPD
This is great. Exactly what I needed. From what I have seen for now, the sim is so good that it also recreates the same mistakes I do with my real pattern planes :-) With the help of that box, I hope to eliminate some of them before spring Xavier

Smoke and shadow
I have been able to install AFPD on my PC only after cleaning the CD with a stuff used to remove scratches from CD. Apparently, my CD drive was sensitive. Now it runs and it's a lot of fun. I have a questions that I didn't found answers in the book. The smoke doesn't work and the shadow of the plane is only a square. Could it be my video card? Thanks Xavier

Here is the big Extra 330S flying indoor. It really took off and landed in the gym. (in AFPD) The second image shows it inside the airplane carrier after taking off the deck and coming in by the side door. I only have about 2 hours on the sim and I love it. Xavier

Looking for a 160FX crankshaft
I had a surprise last week when the engine stopped and felt stiff right when I started it. On inspection, I found the crankshaft was cracked from the inlet port, halfway on the circomference. I am told by my hobbyshop that the crank is back order until June 30th so I am thinking of buying another 160FX so I could continu practicing. Does anybody has a spare crank ? Thanks Xavier

My first flag
Thanks a lot Gator for all the info on the flag and the shadow in particular. I was looking to learn about that for a while and your posts have convinced me to try it. I got the grey and the transparent color this afternoon and did the flag tonight. I choose an easy one first to try under the wing of my back up Cap 232 25%. The next one will be the Canadian flag on my pattern plane. Xavier
