Here they are! http://rtlfasteners.com/RC/d.html http://www.microfasteners.com/self-tapping-sheet-metal-and-wood-screws-servo-mounting-socket-head-washer-head-sheet-metal-screws.html I have never found these in a local hardware store. If you mean the screw that holds the servo arm on, that is different animal.

I use Hitec HS-645MG, They work well and have all the power I need. And at $26.00 a piece (ebay), they can not be beat.

That is not what you want but you will be amazed at how well they can fly with it not being strait. I have seen some plans fly with nothing lining up. If you can't correct it, I would give it a try.

RE: What servo do you use on your giant bird??
I use the Hitec HS-645MG as my standard servo. It may be overkill for the moderately large planes but with 133 oz of torque, it is hard to beat and in a standard size case. I had been getting them from Tom's RC, but their prices have gone up recently. On ebay you can buy them for $105.00 for a four pack.

Jeff Look here under Balsa USA. They show a Super Cub Cowl available for there 1/3rd scale Cub. They do not show the actual dimensions but a phone call or e-mail should clear that up. Look under cowls and accessories for kits. then under Balsa USA Part# USA-12 http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/catalog.htm Jim

RE: What do you guys use to mouse proof that plane in storage?
ON my RV I put one sheet of Bounce Fabric softener in each bay and the mice will not go near it. It would work in the plane all so. Just fold one sheet and put it right in the fuselage with the receiver and servos, you should be good to go.

That is part of the reason digital servos require more power. Even the T-28 foamies use digital servos and they hum.

What does your plane weight? Rimfire claimes their 1.60 will work up to 22 lbs. Using 2 65 5000mAh batteries. I have never seen a comparison of gasers to electric. I believe the 1.60 size is taking about nitro. Good luck
