RE: TX/RX not binding believe ESC is bad....
ORIGINAL: skindeep No dice still no response from anything other than the ESC startup beep sequence a little fluttering of some servos, the gyro light flashing multiple times then going to an flash every second or so along with single beeps coming from the esc in about the same time frame. I went ahead and payed him for looking at it for me and headed home. After reading numerous more posts on everything to do with the Gyro, ESC, and RX/TX I still have not made any progress and the ESC is supplying 5V steady out of the BEC connector on pin 1 and pin 3 so that is what I have so far....
is your throttle curve is 0% on power up mode, it look like when you connect your battery your esc is aking for programming, most of the esc when you connect your battery, if your stick is on mid, esc is asking for programming input. Check your radio setting throttle curve, throttle stick all the way down, 0% throttle curve. Can any one explain it more..

RE: How long do 11.1volt batteries accually last?
It depend on your flying style, for 3D some they fly for 5min, for sport flying some at least 8 min . The important is don't use your battery beyond 80%.

RE: How do you charger batteries in Blade 450?
I have the same charger that you have. make sure your power lead to lipo is not on reverse, the charger comes with it lead that you can plug in to the charger to the lipo, make sure is red to red, black to black, pos to pos neg to neg. when I recieved my accucell-6 it comes with lipo lead, glow plug charger lead, aligator clip lead. plug in your lipo balace port to the charger. to operate the charger you may used laptop power supply. Press the status until you see lipo charge, press status right arrow until you see balance charge, press start, it will show confirming batt press start to confirm. It will take at least an hr to charge 3 cell.

RE: HK 600 question
check out HK hobby, they have some descent lipo batt. I may consider going to 5000 mah instead of 3500mah. I have also the hk600 and I used 2 3000mah 6s for forward flite (5 min each flite) 2 batt. just to balance its center gravity. also I used 2200mah 3s to power the HK esc opto 80 amp + regulator to power the reciever.

RE: Trex 600 cyclic fine tuning problem? Or not advice
I have a question, does direct drive (linkage) from servo arm to swash plate will work? I'm doing experiment on my 600 GT as i notice it reduce speed on my cyclic when I have the other part linkage on, after removing the linkage and do it direct from servo to swash, it add more speed on my cyclic ( it's very slooow on cyclic before so I decide to do like the 500 GT setting).

RE: HK 600gt? Yes or No...
I don't have any problem with their esc, even the brand mystery, just make sure if you accidentaly crash, cut the power off of your motor like doing auto so it won't burn your esc nor puff the battery as motor will continue running after crash, as it happen to me before when i was new to heli using walkera radio no motor cut off. Also make sure you get the 6mm pinion too. as the hk 600 heli comes with 5mm pinion. I can used that 5mm on my 500. Cutting the frame, you can check GOGGLE how they cut the frame align trex 600, I even copy and save it so I have an idea how will i cut it using dremmel tools. some guys use scorpion motor almost the same as the hk motor (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=11102) and they do cut the frame.

RE: Erratic T-Rex 600 motor
ORIGINAL: gauicanada I heard that static can cause all sorts of control problems and if it's belt drive a lot of static can be produced. What I was told was to lube the belt with silicon lube and then try, so I soaked it. Went and flew today and found my glitches and speed bursts from yesterday did not occur I went through five battery packs without and issue. Now it's too soon to say it's cured but only time and patience will tell and hopefully this and other control problems will be gone.
You may try to ground your tail to the motor (motor mount).
