just buy a slayer trans gear and put it in your revo transmission....with the slayer gear and 15-36 gearing i was hitting 60mph. and 18-36 i was hitting 65mph here is a link to the gears you need. [link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001640640&I=LXVUJ5&P=K[/link]
ORIGINAL: Radioman193
ORIGINAL: absolutemayhem your obviously bias towards electric......why dont you take the batterys out your tv remote, put them in your radio shack rc and go driving. i messed with BL for one year and set a world record in IMDRA....100.3mph in 1.3 seconds....so yeah, its toooo easy.
only 100.3 ? hmmmmm  try 161.76 MPH <a href=''http

RE: 65 MPH REVO .....video
ORIGINAL: Mclovin350z I don't think that radar gun is accurate. 18/36 is not that high of a gear. 20/34 is more like the 65 mph range. It depends on your engine rpm of course.
running a slayer trans, witch is geared higher since the slayer ueses such small tires,...geared 18-36 with a revo trans i hit 55mph with a fully modded .28xz

RE: How can the Hyper 21 be only $130?
you get what you pay for....sure a cheaper motor will run good....but the performace and quality is undeniable in a true race motor.....if your not willing for fork over bucks for the most important part of your r/c, your in the wrong hobby. im not a racer, im a basher only....i like my motor to start, ilde, run and tune as its supposed to...perfect, with wicked fast throttle response and high rpm's.

RE: nitro porting
here is a motor i modded, first time i really pushed the timmings, and i think its perfect for my revo. great bottom and blitering top end speed.i did loose some bottom end, but in a revo its not really missed...i think it hits 55mph in like 4 seconds(wish my real car was that fast)....also i dont use full throttle in first gear cause i got tired of breaking the hardend steel shaft in the transmission...oh yeah, its a .28xz
