RE: Stihl 56CC gas/glow conversion - need feedback
Try a 3 blade 20X8 if available, most 50 to 55CC engines use a 22X8 two blade prop and you are using a 18X6 that's to small in my opinion.

RE: GAS/GLOW HOW TO....
Well Bob!!!! I don't see why it shouldn't work if it works on weed eaters imagine how it would work with the timing an power that these chinese engines have, I sell the RCGF line of engines but I havent tried one with gas glow, but I know this for sure even the gassers with CDI benefit in horsepower increase with the Gas/Glow fuel and CDI combo.

RE: 26cc 4 cycle ryobi conversion to CDI help
Hi, I thing that trying to ignite at TDC is complicating things for you, the spak should occur before it hits TDC at about 28 degrees, well that is on a 2 stroke gas engine and I think it would be similar on a four stroker, try to move your sensor by rotating it to clokwise about 3/8 to 1/2 inch so it ignites before it hits TDC and see what happens

RE: Ryobi 31cc on a Giant big stick?
This plane is totally different then the ultra stick, it has 80" wingspan, 72" long, wheigs aprox. 12lbs (ready to fly) it is sturdier, has 2 piece foam wing joined by a T6 aluminum tube, you can put a 33 to 45CC gas engine and do al 3D stuff or put a 26-31 cc engine and do basic aerobatics or fly like a trainer. I am offering the plane alone ARF for $175.00 as an introductory price or have it available with different power packages 26CC RCGF engine+plane = $395.00; Plane + 31CC Ryobi/electronic ignition(RCEXL) = $350.00; Plane + 45CC RCGF = $450.00 I can also have ready to fly just include your receiver for $200.00 extra on each power combo, this includes the following items. Two 2500 NiMH battery packs one 16X8 APC prop (26CC engine) or one 18x6W APC prop (31CC engine) or one 20X8 wood prop (45CC engine) Five metal gear Digital servos plus one std. servo (throtle). Two "Y" connectors. Three 12"-15" servo extensions. One Power distribution Unit (helps manage your batteries so receiver allways recieves 5.5 volts regardles of servo current draw). One heavy duty switch with charging jack. Installation fee. of course this not includes Shipping and Handling as this varies from area to area (usually arround $45.00 to $50.00 dollars)
