RE: BOWMAN RING
Kerwin50, I am using a jr 4.8v ignition battery. Mine goes the opposite way. The first few flights run great with no miss at all. Then all of a sudden it will start to miss a little on the next flight. Then continue to get worse on the next succeeding flights. The engine never quits but the miss is annoying. Aframe2

RE: BH Ryan Special 92
Handyman, wiil do, may not start on it for another month or so, I'm getting all the components I need so I can work without delay once I start. One other question while I am thinking about it. The instructions mention nothing about gluing the wing together. This doesn't remain a two piece wing does it? Even if it was meant to be I think I will glue it together. Aframe2

RE: BH Ryan Special 92
Handyman, I think there is enough wood to hold them. I had some of those nylon hinges tear into on my 1/4 scale gee bee, and replaced them with Robarts. Might as well replace them now. I'm thinking of putting a dle-35 in this plane. What do you think? Why did you change the firewall, do you mind me asking? Thanks, Aframe2

RE: BH Ryan Special 92
Did anyone change the hinges that came with the kit? I am concerned that these hinges won't hold in a quarter scale plane like this ryan. I was going to use Robart 3/16 point hinges to be safe. Anyone have concerns? Thanks, Aframe2

I have a Zenoah G-26, turning a 18x8 Xoar prop. I can't get any more than 6500 rpms. Is this too much prop for this engine? If so what size prop are you running with this engine? The instructions say the engine should be turning between 7500-8500 rpms. Thanks Aframe2
